About

Our restored, temperature controlled barn sits on 110 acres of beautiful Brown County countryside and provides an idyllic setting for weddings and special events. Included on the property is a beautifully restored historic cabin. Mount Liberty Farms is just 15 minutes from Columbus, Indiana and 10 minutes from the town of Nashville.

We like to think of our farm and wedding venue as an escape from it all and a place to connect, unwind and gather with those you love the most. At Mount Liberty Farms, we believe in community. We believe that our historic venue can play a role in bringing people together and celebrating the joys in life. Because isn't that what it is all about?

Our Barn is perfect for intimate weddings and events with 50-100 guests. Or fill the barn to the max with up to 130+ guests. Couples can decorate the Barn and any other areas however they would like, ensuring that their wedding décor reflects their style and personality. Tables, chairs and our decor are included in every wedding package.

Our 1800s hand-hewn log home has been restored and features a large back addition, spacious kitchen, and dining room area. This private retreat is perfect for rehearsal dinners, getting ready, and truly enjoying the entire farm experience. Couples and their loved ones can enjoy a two-night stay in the guest house and the Mount Liberty Farms property to make their wedding an occasion, not just a single day.

This venue was perfect!

Our wedding was absolutely perfect and we loved having it at The Barn at Mount Liberty so so much! The property is stunningly beautiful, and the convenience that the venue provides is simply unmatched. Everyone we worked with was so hospitable and incredibly nice! We had a wonderful experience and we’d do it all again in a heartbeat.

The barn was perfect for my wedding! We had 130ish people and it fit everyone comfortably. The cabin across the road is convenient and beautiful as well.

We recently had the pleasure of hosting our daughter and son-in-law’s wedding at The Barn at Mount Liberty, and we couldn't be more thrilled with the entire experience. From the moment we first visited the venue, we were impressed by its elegance and charm. Alison, Rebekah, Gavin and Galen were incredibly professional, attentive, and accommodating, ensuring that every detail was perfect from our first venue visit to wedding day!
The venue itself is breathtaking, with stunning architecture and beautiful grounds that provided the perfect backdrop for my daughter and son-in-law’s special day.
One of the highlights was the exceptional service provided by the Alison and Gavin, who went above and beyond to ensure that everything ran smoothly that weekend and that our vision was brought to life.

They are Amazing!

Our daughter was married at The Barn at Mount Liberty!! The venue is stunning and the owners and staff went above and beyond!!! I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for exceptional service in a rustic, elegant, country setting. What an unforgettable day!

Stunning views, amazing staff, calm and serene space.

The Barn at Mount Liberty was the perfect setting for our wedding! The views were stunning and perfect for pictures. The staff was amazing to work with - they had the space set up just as we asked which made it much easier to just get in and focus on personalizing it. The cabin was so serene and calming after our busy wedding day. We will be back to the cabin again. Our wedding was more perfect than we ever could have imagined.

A country wedding venue that has it all

I recently photographed a wedding at the Barn at Mount Liberty and I fell in love! What an amazing venue to get married - the scenery- the spots for photos- a place to get ready and stay for a honeymoon night and the staff is so helpful- I can’t wait to shoot there again! If you are having a small wedding you should consider this venue it has everything you need.

I absolutely LOVE this venue! Not only is the venue absolutely gorgeous, but the people are amazing! It was like talking to people we had known forever and were old friends with. So easy and fun to work with! They helped make our dreams come true! The views make you feel like you’re in Tennessee which is exactly what I was looking for!

Very highly recommend! The staff helped make our event perfect. They were warm and friendly and so very accommodating. Not only do you get the space but so many extras. The staff goes above and beyond to help with everything. We looked into other venues and nothing compared to the views and gorgeous venue and cabin.
