The Barn at Bee Cliff is a tranquil space to host a wedding in Elizabethton, Tennessee. Located in the Cherokee National Forest, on the banks of the Watauga River, right under the Bee Cliff, the property is made up of fourteen fully-furnished cabins, the main barn, and the outdoor pavilion. Surrounded by untouched nature and picturesque views, this venue offers a peaceful space for your wedding day celebrations. With plenty of great fishing spots, amazing trails, and kayaking opportunities, this idyllic location is the ideal place to escape to. Owners Norine and John Allen completed construction in the summer of 2020 and opened the grounds to couples seeking a romantic trip away to celebrate their love.
Facilities and Capacity
Boasting 1,944 square feet of space on the ground level, the barn offers plenty of space for small, intimate ceremonies or large wedding receptions. Attached to the barn is a large covered porch that provides guests with a substantial amount of space to host outdoor events. The high ceiling displays large beams that are tastefully decorated with romantic string lights. John set out to transform the space into a beautiful area where romance can thrive. By reusing wood from an old church, he crafted the barn out of several different types of wood including cedar, knotty pine, red oak, ash, and poplar. The large garage-style doors open up onto the expansive outdoor space, allowing the room to be cooled by the natural air from the Watauga River. The pavilion overlooks the land and nearby forest while offering a setting for photos of the wedding party. The cabins provide cozy rooms for getting ready and overnight stays.
You and your partner will be given a tour of The Barn at Bee Cliff and encouraged to discuss your ideas. The tall trees and natural surroundings create a setting for photos of the wedding party. The antique farming equipment perched in the heart of the grounds provides couples with a foundation to center their photoshoot around. The team will gain a genuine understanding of your individual style and your expectations for the day. The venue can take care of the setup and breakdown of the event to make the process easier for you on the big day. The setup and cleanup of event items such as tables and chairs are all covered by the team.

Wow! What a Wedding!
From the moment Norine responded to our request for pricing, we were impressed. Not only did she address our questions and concerns quickly, but she went out of her way to make sure that everything was just right. The Barn itself is beautifully rustic with plenty of room, gorgeous craftmanship and nice restrooms and kitchen. And the outside--one of the most beautiful settings for a wedding. The barn sits on a river bank and is surrounded by beautiful mature trees and landscape. We spent our "honeymoon" in the Hen House while our guests filled the Bee Cliff Cabins across the river which are also owned by Allens. We can't say enough about the hospitaliy shown by the owners Norine and John. They went over and above and really seemed to care. We very highly recommend the Barn at Bee Cliff. Tell Norine that Adam and Pepper sent you.Sent on 02/18/2021

Most beautiful place for our wedding!
My finance and I visited the property and we both love it! The barn itself is pretty cool but the surroundings are incredible. It sits right on the river and is secluded and peaceful. We also took a look at the cabins for out of town guests and they look great. The owners gave us a wonderful tour and couldn't have been nicer. This is going to be the perfect location for our wedding!Sent on 09/24/2020

Their newest addtion is The Barn at Bee Cliff, just completed this year.
