Located in Apison, Tennessee, Hidden Springs Venue is an idyllic location for weddings, receptions, and other nuptial events. This rustic yet modern barn venue is situated right in the heart of the forest, with a panoramic view for you to say your vows. With a lakeside background and several cabins to choose from, this event space will make your special day unforgettable.
Facilities and Capacity
Hidden Springs is located on 170 acres of land and was previously used as a youth camp before being purchased and renovated in 2019. Owners Tom and Julie Willumson worked to maintain the property’s down-to-earth atmosphere while adding an elegant touch to the decor and furniture. The charming, barn-style building holds enough floor space for 200 guests and is adorned with visible wood beams and massive doors on all four walls. The barn sits beside a 9-acre lake, for couples that dream of having their first kiss beside a crystal-clear waterfront. All of the barn doors can be opened, to give your guests a breathtaking view of the forest and shoreline. A gravel path cuts through green manicured lawns right to the venue entrance for easy access, as well as for romantic photo sessions. Peppered throughout the woods are several cabins that have been completely rebuilt with all the modern amenities while maintaining their bucolic appeal. Up to 44 guests total can be accommodated in the cabins, with each space curated to create a relaxing atmosphere. Our styling suite contains a classic claw-foot tub, large mirrors, and plenty of living room space for the couple and their wedding parties to get ready.
Services Offered
The team at Hidden Springs Venue happily cater to weddings of any style, from small intimate gatherings of 25 to more extravagant affairs of 200. The property is pet-friendly, allowing your furry friend to enjoy the lake and trees just as much as you and your guests. The team provides wooden X-back chairs along with a selection of table sizes, from round to farmhouse style, to better match your personal theme. The seating arrangements will be handled by the onsite staff, for both indoor and outdoor celebrations, to best suit your preferences. Custom arbors and wedding arches are also available to give your guests a romantic vision of you at the altar.

From the day I first toured the property to our wedding day, the staff at Hidden Springs were amazing to work with. Emma and her team were with me every step of the way and made our wedding planning experience so easy and fun. Working with their preferred vendors made wedding planning stress-free.
We had whole wedding weekend at Hidden Springs, which made everything so special and so memorable as our families and wedding party were able to stay on site with us in the gorgeous cabins. After our rehearsal dinner, my husband and crew got to fish on the beautiful grounds while the girls hiked and the families got to rest and relax in the gorgeous cabins.
Day or, Emma brought my vision to life, while I relaxed surrounded by friends and family. I didn’t have to worry about a thing but getting married and enjoying the day, and we did, thanks to their efforts and dedication to making our day perfect.
I truly couldn’t imagine a better experience, and I am so thankful for Hidden Springs making our wedding experience so perfect!

from start to finish - Hidden Springs staff was amazing to work with! they helped make our vision come to life. SO many beautiful spots to take photos too! the scenery was exactly what we were looking for in a venue. we loved having our rehearsal dinner there the night before & renting the cabins for family and wedding party to stay in - helped make the weekend a little less stressful to spend quality time with them! and perfect for getting ready photos the day of. also loved how much was included with the venue 🤍 already planning on staying in a cabin for our anniversary!
The perfect venue
The space itself is incredible (minimal need for decoration as the scenery is so beautiful). We stayed on property the day/night before the wedding and the cabins were perfect. Very thoughtful, comfortable, beautifully done and the perfect space to celebrate with friends and family. The fact that the space was also built for weddings just means that everything runs really smoothly.
The team was so helpful and ensured we had everything we needed to be present in the day. We really can't recommend Hidden Springs enough, it totally knocked our socks off and made our wedding so special!
