Although I can't exactly write this review about hosting our reception at the Atlantic Grill like we had planned, I have nothing but good things to say about how Caitlyn handled everything! Caitlyn was so easy to work with, and was understanding of how difficult it was to plan a wedding in the midst of a pandemic. We eventually decided to postpone our reception to next year, but never felt pressured from Caitlyn to make that decision. We ended up having dinner, just the two of us, after our ceremony (in our wedding attire of course!), and everything was absolutely delicious! We're scheduled to have our reception there next year, and can't wait to see how it all turns out!

We hosted our rehearsal dinner and welcome cocktail hour at the Atlantic Grill in August. We could not have been happier with this decision. Caitlyn was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was communicative, organized, and accommodating from day one. Planning with her was a breeze and she handled the day of with ease. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent! I personally still think about the pot de creme. I also appreciated that great care was taken for a few serious dietary restrictions we had in the group. I highly recommend The Atlantic Grill and Caitlyn Hassett. Thank you for helping us kick off our wedding weekend!

We choose to have our rehearsal dinner at the Atlantic Grill. We could not have been happier with this decision. Caitlyn was incredible to work with! She was organized, flexible and kind. She brought our vision to life and made the atmosphere for our rehearsal dinner that much more special. Our guests are still raving about how delicious the food was and how incredible the space was. A few are planning to go back to the restaurant for dinner who had never been before that night! The night was perfect!

When we got engaged in March of 2017 we had always envisioned getting married in the lake’s region of NH. However, we were going to have a small wedding, about 85 people, and many venues in the lake’s region wanted 100+ people. We are from Dover, NH so we started to look at Portsmouth as an option. We had tours at Portsmouth Harbor Events and other places but, we walked away feeling like it just wasn’t the place for us and our wedding size was just going to be to small. We stumbled upon Atlantic Grille through some small wedding shopping on The Knot and we are so happy we did. We met Caitlyn and the magic started. Caitlyn is very hands on so if you’re worried about hiring an event planner you don’t need to be. She answered every email in a timely fashion sometimes even after work hours or days off. She is open to really any idea you have but, will give her professional opinion just in case. We sat down with her in March of 2018 to do our tasting and the amount of food that we tried was outstanding. She let us try nearly everything on the menu and the portion size was more than I was expecting. We had brought our moms with us and Caitlyn really let us go and decide what we wanted for each course. She was also able to add in some options that weren’t on the menu. We wanted mac n cheese balls and Bloody Mary shooters and the chef agreed to make those which we were happily surprised with. We met with her three days before the wedding and brought all of our boxes with us for the reception. She asked for pictures of how the welcome table, memoriam table and sweetheart table should be set up. When we entered the reception after doing couple photos we couldn’t believe how it turned out. Everything was exactly where I wanted it to be and Caitlyn brought our vision to life! We couldn’t believe that with just leaving her with everything and giving her some pictures, it would have turned out so great! Katie who is her assistant was there to help us close the wedding and she kept up the high standard that Caitlyn had left us expecting. I asked her if we could get some boxes to bring home the rest of our cupcakes and she brought boxes right over and started putting cupcakes in. She also brought us take home boxes for our meals that we just couldn’t finish because we had eaten so much at cocktail hour. We ended up forgetting them but, we are going back this Friday for dinner anyways. We really can’t say enough about Caitlyn and her staff and how amazing they made our wedding night! We had a Welcome Reception for my son, his fiancé and about 190 people last weekend at The Atlantic Grill. The atmosphere was beautiful, the food amazing and abundant and the service excellent. Everyone had a fantastic time. They were responsible and careful about not serving underage people. The staff was courteous and made sure that we were happy throughout the night. I would highly recommend The Atlantic Grill and Caitlyn Hassett who is the events coordinator. She was patient, flexible and available for us throughout the planning process. i had my wedding reception at Atlantic Grill and the overall experience was fantastic. Caitlyn was our key contact at the reception. She was responsive to our questions and provided valuable suggestions for our reception. She also customized our menu and drink options based on our party size. Besides the great service offered, the food was also amazing. Our guests had a great time at the facility, so did my husband and I!

The Atlantic Grill was the perfect choice for our small wedding reception (about 25 guests). Our guests really appreciated the quality of food and drinks (and are still taking about variety offered six months later)! Definitely not your typical wedding food—and don’t let the name fool you, there was so much more than just seafood. We also appreciated the attentiveness of staff (including servers and during the planning process! The flexibility during our last minute planning process was very helpful as well. Caitlyn and staff were very professional and went above and beyond to ensure our day was special and that everything went as smooth as possible.

The food and beverages were delicious, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful or gracious. Caitlyn and Katie were so helpful in the planning and the day of the shower.
If you have an event here, you won't be disappointed.

We had my sister's bridal shower at the Atlantic Grill this past Saturday. The room was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the entire event staff was so kind! My sister was thrilled and all of our family and friends had a great time- everyone loved the venue!

This was the first time my organization has used the Atlantic Grill in Rye, NH for an event venue.
Their attention to detail exceeded our expectations in every way and they provided flexibility when our dates changed to accommodate our needs.
We certainly look forward to having our next event there and can recommend Atlantic Grill to anyone looking for "just the right place."
