I cannot say enough about how amazing and talented Tara is. Tara did my make up for both my wedding and engagement party. I never felt more beautiful. The makeup for both events lasted ALL day, I mean after hours of dancing and in the hot sun. She worked with my vision and accommodated my sensitive skin and allergies. For my wedding trial, she tested two different looks on my eyes to see which one I liked best. We photographed them both and decided on the best option. The day of the wedding, everything was perfect and I LOVED my make up. She juggled doing the hair of my 9 bridesmaids and doing my make up beautifully and with a smile.

If you want to look gorgeous on your wedding day, there is no better artist! She is worth EVERY penny don't skimp out on photos that you will have the rest of your life. Tara is a real pro and will enhance your natural beauty.

What I appreciated most about Tara's work:
1. Very reasonably priced. I inquired with several other hair/makeup artists in the Bay Area, and while other estimates were insane ($600 for a hairdo?!), Tara is affordable and worked with me.
2. Respectful and honest. Don't overlook the importance of someone who will tell you like it is! I came to Tara with an idea, and she gently told me why it might not turn out how I envisioned (shoulder length hair does not magically become mid-back curls, turns out) and helped me recreate it into something that would work with my hair length and type.
3. Professional. Tara was responsive over email, showed up on time, worked efficiently.
4. Wide range of skills. While some of Tara's work is very bold, I wanted something more subtle and she met me there.
5. Fun! Tara is a great conversationalist and makes the time fly.

Highly recommend!!! I found Tara through WeddingWire and she was incredibly kind, professional, fun, talented and fairly priced. She made me feel more beautiful than I ever have and she helped keep me calm and laughing during the most stressful time right before the wedding.

Tara did my make-up for my wedding. No... Let me make this clear... When Tara showed up the morning of my wedding she was booked to do my make-up, my mom's and a couple of my bridesmaids. Not only did she do THE MOST INCREDIBLE job, but as the rest of my six bridesmaids saw how gorgeous of a job she was doing on us they asked last minute if she could fit them in. Tara single handedly did every one of us and didn't make us feel rushed, and also took the time to personalize each one! When each girl who asked her last minute did so, she didn't even flinch! She was SUPER nice about it and accommodating. And the quality was UNREAL! My makeup lasted twelve long, emotional hours! Through the ceremony, the eating and drinking, the sweaty dancing, everything!! And I am a person who feels like makeup just falls off of me five minutes after I put it on, normally. I wish Tara could do my makeup everyday!

Tara did the makeup for my wedding in September 2013. She was recommended to me from the salon where I get my hair done. They all love her so I knew I would be in good hands. She did a trial for me before my bridal shower so she could get an idea of what I wanted. I didn't have any strong opinions... she did an amazing job! She also purchased a lip gloss me for the day of the wedding that she thought would last a long time and be a good color. It was so nice to not have to worry about it and she did pick the perfect lip gloss. :) I had a complicated schedule for all of my bridesmaids and family members that wanted to get their nails, hair and makeup done the day of the wedding. Tara worked with me to put together the list and helped with the timing of how long it would take which is was really nice of her and super helpful. On the day of the wedding she took all of the girls outside to make sure everyone's makeup would like good in day light and inside. I highly recommend Tara for makeup (lasted all night!) and for her professionalism and knowledge when preparing for the big day.

Book Tara! She's amazing and will make you feel amazing too! She did make up for my wedding and I was so pleased how everyone looked. My mom was hesitant to get her make up done, but after seeing the results, she was so happy. Everyone looked and felt beautiful. I loved how organized she is, responsive to suggestions and I've never felt more beautiful!

She is an amazing make up artist, she accommodates my weird make up allergies and I still looked flawless. The make up lasted all night and I looked great in pictures.

Tara did my makeup for my wedding along with my 3 bridesmaids and 4 sisters! Not only is she professional, patient, and sweet but she is a true artist! She REALLY listens to what the client wants and offers ways and suggestions that are tailored to your liking. On my wedding day, I really wanted to focus on my skin. I wanted it to look flawless and NOT cake-y. I also don't like heavy eye makeup but I wanted something glam enough to look pretty in pictures. Tara has done my make-up a few times, including for my wedding day and also for professional engagement and maternity photoshoots. She is extremely friendly and makes you feel very comfortable.
