Suzanne's Band is the official vehicle driven by Katy, TX Grammy member/artist Mia Suzanne Walker. A veteran owned, woman owned business started in 2017, the vision was to create non-genre specific music that reached the heart of each listener. It was also part of the vision to bring music out into the community in whatever aspect available either through established music venues, bars, restaurants, coffee shops, festivals and nursing/assisted living facilities. Shows are usually a mix of covers from over multiple decades and genres including country, pop, blues and rock under the Americana umbrella. Original songs also fall in those same genres.
Mia and husband Bill Walker, the drummer, also play every Sunday at church and love to spend time with their four chidren and four grandchildren.
