George Parish was an amazing officiant! He was funny, flexible and professional! I wrote our service, but he did a wonderful job! While I was nervous about not meeting him before the ceremony, he was great!

My husband and I were looking for someone reasonably priced to marry us and since we were from out of state and did not belong to a church in Rehoboth, Delaware we thought a JOP would be perfect. The process was very easy and on the one occasion I was able to speak to John Brady, he read through the ceremony for me which I really liked, he even adds "for the rest of our lives", instead of "until death do us part". We had wanted to do a sand ceremony and luckily John had his own wording for that so we didn't have to worry.
We did not do a practice of the ceremony with him, and was a little disappointed with how a few things worked out on our wedding day. The procession order had to be a bit tweaked as he took it upon himself when to enter the ceremony and he called me Stephanie during the recorded ceremony, which is not my name. Being human, mistakes are made but somehow, our original marriage license was never provided to us which was so sad! The bureau finally did send me 2 copies in the mail, but forgot to include our vows which would have been nice to have. I also have to say, the JOP's appearance was a bit off, he wore a bright yellow shirt under his black robe and it made him look like he didn't care enough to look nice for presiding our ceremony, a bit sloppy. I have also seen other wedding photos where the person presiding moves a bit out of the way for the first kiss photos which would have been nice to do.
