I found Sugar Rush via Instagram and was so impressed with how beautiful cakes can be! I emailed to set up a tasting, and Emerlie was so nice and helpful in figuring our flavors and what size cakes to make. It can be tough to know how much cake to order!

I chose three cakes with different flavors, and they turned out beautifully. My husband and I cut into the cake at the reception, and it was incredibly delicious. I definitely ate more than the one bite he fed me right there. The sea salt caramel chocolate ganache can't be beat! We also had a lovely lemon berry cake that was perfect for summer.

The price was a great value, and I will definitely order more cakes from Sugar Rush for birthdays and anniversaries!

The cake was absolutely one of my high priorities planning my wedding. I come from a country where the cake is very very important in a celebration like this and I wanted to find good flavors like the ones in at home. I tried different wedding cakes going to weddings and also just buying them and unfortunately they were far from what I wanted.

We took some time off to go to Utah (we live in another state) and go cake hunting and I was still not comfortable enough with what we found but luckily we found Emerlie (she was the last artist we visited) and we loved her work.

I contacted Sugar Rush some time before thanks to a referral from Salt Lake City Cakes and set up a meeting to try some flavors. They have a good selection (not overwhelming like other bakeries) and we were able to try 2.

We wanted something simple but you can see by the pictures that they are totally capable of doing amazing designs and work with your ideas and expectations

Emerlie and her lovely assistant Kalia were very soliciting on the emails we exchanged and throughout the whole process.

In our visit Emerlie explained to us about serving, flavors and pricing. We decided to try Samoa and Tropical Coconut and these are the flavors we had for our cake. They were both very delicious and everyone loved them at the wedding.

Emerlie was also very nice allowing us to add syrup between layers since that’s the way we like and wanted and some bakeries we visited told us that it was impossible to do so.

In general, I would recommend Sugar Rush for sure. For the flavors, price and amazing costume service.

I hope we can try more of their flavors in the future and I’m glad they were part of our special day.

This is the 2nd time I used Emerlie for my bestie's surprise birthday cupcakes and from thousands of miles away, she delivers incredible, creative & delicious cupcakes. I'm able to tell her my vision and she was able to bring it to life and exceed my expectations! I wish I could give her a million stars, she is hands down the best!!!! Thank you so much Emerlie!
