Jen founded Jen Pruss Photography, formerly Studio.1328 Photography + Design, in 2012 as a creative outlet from her job at the time. She was working at an architecture firm and was not able to use her creativity and passion for designing the way she had dreamed she would. When Jen started Studio.1328, she had no idea that this would become a career for her. She began primarily shooting children and families, but has evolved in to all aspects of photography from weddings to newborns to seniors. She started out renting a tiny studio downtown Spirit Lake, Iowa and has expanded into her own studio space right across the street from that original location. She is grateful to see everyday where she started and what this dream has become because of wonderful clients along the way that have trusted her with their memories.
