About
We're Nick + Maria - you may already know us as STUDIO 1208. We are a husband and wife creative team specializing in destination weddings and small, intimate affairs for really fun people. We work in production in our other life, and love to mix our commercial fashion vibes with our wedding aesthetic. What we love about weddings is that we get the chance to get to know you, and basically get to follow our friends around documenting something SO personal and magical. 95% of our clients become our actual friends, which is so amazing.
We believe that LOVE IS LOVE and that #BLACKLIVESMATTER.
We work directly with you in the process, so that we can tell your story authentically, and turn your memories into heirlooms. We invest ourselves wholly into you - we are your visual sidekicks - helping you to make decisions based on how things will look and even more importantly, how they will FEEL...we are very much about creating and enhancing experiences.
We record your history through eyes that truly care for you, and we are fun - like, really, really fun.
We are based in the UK, however, we work in the USA quite often, and also LOVE to work with American clients who are getting married in Europe - giving them an American aesthetic, no language barrier, and minimal travel costs. Seriously, this is something to consider!
While we specialize in destinations and travel, we are available to shoot anywhere, even if it is in your own backyard. You never know where we are going to be, so just get in touch! We just want to capture great people, having fun who GET what we do. We love something new and exciting or different. It's about the people and the vibe they create with those they love - there is magic everywhere!
We will work our asses off for you and give you forever art. This is the ultimate collabo, so let's do this TOGETHER!

No review will ever do justice to the incredible dynamic that Nick + Maria bring to their work, and to your wedding... but I'll try! Researching photographers was a bit stressful, but as soon as I found Studio 1208, everything fell into place from the first email. We were instantly impressed by their previous work, and loved how they leaned in to get to know us, what we were looking for, and shared tips to maximize feeling present throughout the entire day. By the time our wedding day came, Maria + Nick were like family and everyone knew who they were, loved them, which makes a huge difference in the quality of photos and video. They captured all the right moments, expressions and emotions of the day. It's like they were everywhere, but always calm, cool and collected. True professionals!! When we look back at our photos and video, we are instantly transported back to the best day of our lives. Easily one of the best decisions we have EVER made was to bring Studio 1208 into our wedding. We are forever grateful! -

Sometimes there aren’t words to describe the way someone gifts you their talents. This is my predicament in writing a review for Nick and Maria. Their vision, willingness to ‘get the shot’, even if it’s far away or the 59th attempt, they do it. They are equal parts kindness, relatability, fun-spirited, and wholehearted in everything they do. They were part of the wedding party. They were family. And continue to be. If I was to recommend anything or anyone from my wedding, it would be to hire Nick and Maria. You will not be sorry. They will deliver to the enth degree. And above all, they will turn an already special day into a heartfelt memory forever. They are unmatched and we love them to the moon! -

Nick & Maria were so kind and accommodating to me and an overall pleasure to work with on basically every aspect of the photography/ and videography! They were the perfect blend of professional, but comfortable- it felt like we were old friends!! ;P They also sent me just a few GORGEOUS early teaser pics that they took from their phones, and when I received the full package- the photos were PHENOMENAL. The video was so moving- it really played on your heartstrings, and my brother who is usually a stone (as far as showing emotions) even got a bit choked up!! They create amazingly staged portraits and capture all of the goofy/ happy/ touching/ crazy moments in between. Highly Highly HIGHLY recommend this wedding duo! -

I recently had the absolute PLEASURE of working with Maria and Nick from Studio 1208 at a beautiful wedding on the coast of Portugal. Somehow over the past few years our paths had not crossed yet, so I had been anxiously looking forward to collaborating with them. I had heard so many fabulous things about their work! Not only are they extremely talented, but genuinely dedicated to their art and it is obvious that they are passionate about what they do, each other, and their clients.
