I LOVE these people! My daughter was in a wedding several years ago in the North Carolina mountains and the team from Stuart Lawrence came up to do the bridal party's hair and make-up. As my daughter's recent wedding was at a club near Charleston, they were our first choice as she had been so impressed with their professionalism. We did a trial run with Amanda in the Spring and signed a contract with their manager, Michael Varnadore to do the bride's hair plus nine other hair services. The wedding took place the weekend of all of the terrible flooding in Charleston but that did not stop them for a minute. Unbeknownst to us, Michael apparently went around and picked up all of the employees who were coming out to our house 12 miles west of Charleston (now THAT was impressive!) so that they could be sure to get there without any problem. Additionally, the people I had contracted to do make-up (as Stuart Lawrence no longer offered that service) called at the last minute to say that they just could not make it (!). I called Michael in a panic and he managed to call a friend who is a professional make-up artist on the spur of the moment and he was fantastic, as were all of the other stylists who came with him. I cannot say enough great things about this team.....they were perfect in every way and a complete delight to be with !

Katherine recently did my hair for my wedding and another girl ( I can't remember her name but she did great!) did my bridesmaids and they did a great job. We did a trial run a few weeks before the wedding and I had a few things I wanted to tweak. Katherine listened and really followed directions well. The pricing was a little high but they did a great job and I would definitely use them again!

Butch at Stuart Laurence Salon was a miracle worker with my thin hair--I was sure I was going to need some sort of extensions or fake hair, but he was able to do a beautiful up-do without them. He was extremely thorough at the trial, and once we decided on a final look, all I had to do on the wedding day was walk in, sit down, and try to relax. My hair stayed perfect until I took it down over 12 hours later! My bridesmaids that had appointments at Stuart Laurence were also very pleased with how their hair turned out. I just wish I lived in Charleston so that Butch could be my hair stylist!
