Lynn Geddes-Wolling and Jimmy Wolling are natives of Savannah and create a beautiful blend of sounds with the percussive tabla and stringed sitar. Lynn Geddes-Wolling has over 30 years of professional experience in the health and wellness field. She is a Health and Wellness Consultant, Fitness Specialist, E-RYT 500 Yoga Teacher, YACEP Educator (CEU”S), Yoga Therapist, Author, Orator, Ayurveda Practitioner and student of Indian Classical Music.
Lynn enjoyed playing western drums for fun in her early years. Her travels to India for independent study included Ayurveda and Yoga Therapy with three different master teachers. Training included diet, asanas (postures), cleansing techniques, pranayamas (breathing techniques), mudra’s (energy seals), bandha’s (energy locks), meditation and relaxation techniques.
Her immersions in India opened her eyes to Indian Classical Music and her life took a turn when she discovered the power of sound healing and pursued Indian Classical Music seriously. She began studying at the Academy of Indian Classical Music (Banaras Gharana) in Varasnasi, India along with her husband Jimmy.
They barely made it out of India in March of 2020 when they shut the country down. During the lock down and not knowing when they would return to India, Lynn found some master sitar and tabla teachers in Austin, Texas who are from Kolkata, India. Lynn and her husband have traveled to Austin for the last 3 years to study with their new teachers.
