Seth and his team were wonderful to work with for our wedding. We selected the photograph and video package for 10 hours, and we also got an engagement shoot where we got to meet him before the big day. Seth brought another photographer, an assistant, and a videographer to the wedding, and we know that every detail of our day was recorded beautifully. Seth was open to our requests about what we were looking for, and he and his team were friendly, quick, and completely professional on the wedding day. They took their time getting the perfect shots. We haven't yet received all the photos and videos, but the initial "sneak peek" photos came through and they are amazing. While there may be photography packages out there that are less expensive, Strands of Light is worth every penny if you want every photo to be frame-worthy and gorgeous.

The team at Strands of Light are hands-down, phenomenal and I am so grateful for how they captured our wedding day. Our wedding was smack-dab in the middle of the pandemic so most of our plans went out the window. We held our very tiny wedding in our backyard and made the best of it — and the photos are spectacular. Seth was so great during the shifts in planning and our day-of shooter, Kylee, was so professional and easy going. I didn't notice her shooting at all during the ceremony, and during portraits and our little post-ceremony shoot, she was efficient, creative, and relaxed the whole time which is exactly the vibe you want at your wedding. Strands of Light pricing is a bit higher than average, but they capture and produce top-quality photography. Nothing feels contrived or cookie-cutter. If you're looking for romantic photos that capture the soul of your big day, they are worth every single penny. Seth's editing style is beautiful — striking yet soft, timeless with a bit of edge. I will cherish these photos forever.

Seth was wonderful to work with and helped us to capture beautiful images of our special day. Seth's portfolio stood out to us as we were looking for a photographer because he seemed to have an eye for non-traditional/creative shots while still being capable of the more standard wedding photos. We also were also intrigued by his ability to shoot in low-light situations, since out wedding was going to be dimly lit and indoors. It also didn't hurt that he offers very competitive rates for the quality he delivers.

We got everything we asked for and more. Seth was responsive and attentive. He made himself available to tour the venue and another location for pre-wedding photos. He accommodated all of our requests while also offering his expert opinion based on his experience. The photos came back looking great - our families have been loving reliving the evening through Seth's efforts!

Hiring Strands of Light for do our videography was one of THE BEST decisions we made for our wedding. Seth is super communicative and a top-notch professional. He responds very quickly to emails (sometimes within minutes) and has a fantastic problem solving attitude. There are many creative professionals out there who have talent but are difficult to work with, Seth is one of those rare gems who has immense creative vision AND is incredibly personable.

Seth also goes above and beyond. Not only did he come early to setup and with a ton of great shot ideas, he somehow found time to help resolve a bunch of hiccups that cropped up behind the scenes. After the wedding, several groomsmen and bridesmaids told me how he'd helped the DJ set up sound properly, found the venue coordinator to straighten out a locked door snafu, and generally saved the day in a million tiny ways. I had no idea lot of these things had happened day-of - he just stepped in and did it. Long story short...he does everything he can to make your day as perfect as possible.

On top of all that, the highlight reel he sent us was BEAUTIFUL. I literally thought that was the final video, that's how good it was (can't imagine how great the final video will be considering how amazing the highlight reel is!) For anybody who is debating whether you should hire Seth - DO IT. Every penny was worth it.

Seth absolutely CRUSHED IT on our wedding! He and his team Showed up to handle photo and video for our big day, and we can not stop watching the video - like, at all.

I can't emphasize just how nice it was to have a company that did both. We didn't have to worry about coordinating with 2 different companies - it was all under one company and that took the weight off of us in so many ways.

Seth was incredibly responsive on emails calls and texts leading up to the wedding day. We truly didn't have to worry about anything in regards to photo and video.

Seth was absolutely incredible. Not only does he have a great eye for where and when to capture the perfect picture, he also was just fun to hang out with. My husband and I were initially a little nervous in front of the camera but Seth made us feel very comfortable. Our photos are beautiful and we couldn't possibly be happier. We hired Seth for both our engagement shoot and our wedding this past June. He is a wonderful photographer with a great personality (which was a nice bonus) and we loved working with him. He really cares about his clients and it is very obvious in his work. The pictures turned out beautiful. He is very calm and collected. He remained very calm when I was freaking out about being late to the first look and some other timeline issues which are inevitable on your wedding. We cannot recommend him enough.

I can't say enough great things about Seth and his team! I had to find a photographer just a few months before my wedding due to some unexpected circumstances. Seth was empathetic to our situation and went beyond the call of duty to help us out. He was extremely responsive from the beginning, all the way through the wedding, and even afterwards, which I found was rare among vendors! The communication was excellent and the customer service was absolutely seamless. Seth answered every question I had without hesitation. He was professional, friendly, and fun, and he helped us (two people who are not photogenic whatsoever) relax and take beautiful pictures!

The pictures that Seth delivered (in a very short turnaround time!) are ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. I couldn't possibly be happier with pictures of my wedding day. They are classic and elegant, and I feel like they completely capture my husband and I as a couple. Also, a photographer was there to capture every moment imaginable, often without being noticed. We are forever grateful and hope to work with Seth and his team again the future. Choosing Strands of Light was easily one of the best decisions we made during the planning process, they are wonderful!
