I don't know how I got so lucky to have Stitchdown blooms and Rita's genius surrounding me at 2 of the most special days of my life but truly they made the day feel like a fairy sneezed magic all over our tent!! The colors and selection of flowers were beyond incredible. My mom and sisters helped me to arrange the DIY buckets and we could not stop marveling at all of the unique flowers, colors, and incredibly long stems! They completed my rainbow tie dye disco party vision and were so much fun to play with. Everyone at the party could not stop talking about "the flowers!" The bar arrangement Rita made was more than I could have ever imagined!! To see what she can grow and create in both June and July (the bouquets and arrangements she made for our June 2020 micro wedding are still the backgrounds of my sister's phones but they may switch them now!) is awe inspiring. Honestly I am going to spend the rest of my summers figuring out ways to get this beauty into my life, truly a magical operation and a must have for the party flowers of your dreams!

We worked with Rita for our June 2021 wedding. She was so kind, communicative and easy to work with! We had a lot of last minute changes/planning due to COVID and she went out of her way to accommodate us. We did DIY buckets and the flowers were beautiful and healthy when we picked them up on a Thursday for our Saturday wedding. They still looked incredible on Saturday (maybe even better than when we got them!) and we absolutely loved the selection she chose for us. She asked us about colors and our wedding theme and it was so clear that she picked our flowers with that in mind. I am obsessed with how the different arrangements turned out. I would highly recommend Stitchdown and Rita to anyone!

I have very little knowledge about anything floral, but the team at Stitchdown did an incredible job executing my vision for gathered bouquets, boutonnieres, and simple yet elegant greenery for the tables. They were even flexible when I added to my order at the last minute. Everything was delivered on time, and they were very easy to work with.

Rita is a flower design wizard. We got married three weeks ago, and I am still getting comments about how beautiful the flowers were at our wedding.

I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to flowers so I told Rita my color palette and showed her some photos of wedding decor I liked and she produced bouquets and details that were better than I could have imagined! The only thing I was sure I wanted was a flower crown made of delicate white flowers. She produced exactly what I was looking for. It held up all night (I wore it for 12 hours)!

The information she gave me in the lead up to the wedding was very thorough, and she was incredibly responsive.

Bottom line: Rita is terrific and reasonably priced, to boot. If you want beautiful local flowers, look no further!

Working with Rita has been very easy so far. We opted to use a more DIY approach and order buckets of flowers from Stitchdown that we can arrange as we please around the venue for a more casual feel. Rita was able to give us a general idea of flowers that are peaking at the time of our wedding and the rest will be a surprise! The flowers were a great price and I can't want to see them. Obviously, we haven't received the flowers yet but everything else has been great and I have no reason to believe the flowers will be anything less than amazing.

I cannot express how wonderful Rita is! I had no idea what I wanted to do for flowers and she was willing to sit there on the phone with me for 25 minutes to help me brainstorm ideas. She is professional, responds quickly and has the patience of a Saint! I couldn't recommend her more!

Rita and her team did a fantastic job for my wedding in upstate NY in September 2025. She is extremely talented and put together the most stunning moments all throughout the day. I was not super specific about colors or flowers, just that I wanted all the late summer flowers in lots of colors, and it was really amazing to see it all come together. Rita and the team at Stitchdown Farm is amazing! They truly made our vision of a “colorful garden party” come to life. Rita is flexible, honest, and so talented. Additionally, she is the only florist I spoke to who did not have a full-service minimum and a quote loaded with random fees.

Rita and her team went above and beyond in transforming our venue with wildflowers and candles. And I, as the lovestruck bride, was not the only one impressed. Rita at Stitchdown Farm provided flowers for our wedding. They were absolutely beautiful. I did not have much guidance for Rita as I didn't know what I wanted but she took my few thoughts and provided a perfect mix of blooms and a beautiful bouquet. Her prices were, by far, the most reasonable in the area. She even went above and beyond and returned to our venue to collect buckets because we are from another state and had to leave quickly after the wedding. We were intentional to use as many local resources as possible for our wedding and were absolutely thrilled to include such a lovely farm and couple. Highly recommend Stitchdown to others.
