The product quality is outstanding and after shopping there for many years I've always been impressed with the selection and level of customer service. It's family owned and operated and they work hard to ensure your happy with the outcome of their service.

We used Stever's for our wedding favors (chocolate covered oreos), and for treats in our hotel gift bags (chocolate covered pretzels). The chocolate was delicious, and the presentation was very nice. It was convenient that they would tie ribbon around their packaging and put custom labels on their product so that we didn't have to.

While I think it is important to support small local businesses, Stever's does not go out of their way to make shopping at their store enjoyable. Their staff is rude, to the point where we almost considered not using them, but it was too late to go somewhere else. Nobody greets you when you go into the store, and when we called with questions about their product they were short, dismissive, and condescending. Stever's has been in business in the Rochester area for a long time, but I don't know if they will be able to remain open for much longer if they don't improve their customer service.

If you can put up with the terrible customer service, their product is wonderful.
