We hired Nigel, from Steel Drum Flavor, for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. We met him at a bridal show downtown. Our guest can’t stop talking about how amazing and energetic he was during the wedding. We hirely recommend Nigel to any one looking to have the experience of their lifetime.

Steel Drum Flavor was perfect for our wedding, they played at our cocktail hour before guests entered the reception tent for dinner. Nigel is not only the consumate professional but a crazy talented musician. The upbeat music was the perfect kick-off to celebrating and dancing all night. Steel Drum Flavor was an absolute pleasure to work with and traveled to our wedding location out of state. We will always remember what a special day it was. I would absolutely recommend him for any event, your guests will love it!!

We can get enough of Nigel. He is a truly gifted young man. He learned a new song for our first dance. We can't stop singing his praise. He is very professinal and energetic. Our guest can't stop praising him. He came highly recuommended and we can now highly recommend him!

I wanted to incorporate some Caribbean themes in my wedding due to my husband having Caribbean roots. My wedding planner suggested Nigel as a surprise to my husband on our wedding day. Nigel's performance and professionalism was AMAZING!!! His energy and precision made his presentation spectacular!! Everyone enjoyed Nigel's performance especially my husband. Nigel and his Steel Drum Flavor accented our wedding day making it FABULOUS and UNIQUE!!!!

Nigel is an incredibly talented musician. He made our island party feel as though we were dockside in the Caribbean. He is professional and accountable. Even with the threat of rain that evening he made us feel relaxed as he said he could break down and set up anywhere. While entertaining Nigel wears a bright smile and plays his steel drum with a happy heart that naturally lures even the shyest of guests towards his beautiful music. We promise Steel Drum Flavor will add the magic to your soiree... just as he did for ours.

I would recomend Nigel to anyone looking to have a pary or special occasion. He did an amazing job at my wedding receptiona and even learned a special song for my husband and I to dance to. Everyone who was at my reception stopped to tell me how much the enjoyed Nigel! He made my reception very special and unique and even played Happy Birthday to one of my guests. He was also very nice and let some of the children try out his drum :) Thanks again to Nigel Thomas I would look forward to going to any event you were playing at!!

We booked Nigel Thomas : Steel Drum Flavor - he covered our pre-ceremony, ceremony, cocktails and a part of our reception. I was amazed that one person can sound so amazing and play such a wide variety of music. We were initially concerned about a typically "Caribbean" steel drum being able to play appropriate music for each part of our wedding...boy were we surprised! Everything was perfect - he set the right tone, everything from "smooshing" to dancing!!! He was on time (arrived about 1 hour before starting time), friendly, professional, the music was incredible.

We're recommending them to all of our friends and hope to be able to hire them again in the future.

Nigel Thomas is the best! We hired him for the cocktail hour of our daughter's wedding reception and he was splendid! Extremely versatile, he played a wide variety of music and kept our guest completely entertained while waiting on the wedding party to arrive. Completely professional from start to finish, Steel Drum Flavor is superb!

We are extremely happy with every part of Nigel's performance and flexibility in meeting our needs. He arrived early and had to wait to setup because of our wedding ceremony, but then was still setup and playing on time when we could open up the area for him. Everyone enjoyed the unique steel drum music at the marina and we got many compliments from all of our guests for such an excellent choice. We will definately consider asking Nigel to play at future club events and will suggest that the other sailing clubs on Carlyle Lake also consider Steel Drum Flavor Carribean Island Music for their parties!
