Starr's Restaurant is a chef-owned, farm-to-table fine dining destination nestled in the heart of Waterloo, New York — a distinctive and intimate setting for weddings and private celebrations in the Finger Lakes wine country.

Chef Starr Andrews spent nearly two decades honing her craft in the region's most respected kitchens before opening Starr's alongside co-owner Elizabeth Renshaw in 2024. Together they built a restaurant around one simple idea: exceptional food, made with real care, for people who want to be somewhere special.

Facilities & Capacity

Weddings at Starr's are always a full buyout — exclusive use of the entire restaurant for your party. The venue seats up to 100 guests across two floors, including The Loft, a 2,000-square-foot second-floor event space featuring dark green walls, hardwood floors, romantic lighting, and long candlelit tables that photograph beautifully and feel even better in person. The Loft seats up to 46 guests independently for rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, and engagement parties.

Services Offered

Every event is built around scratch-made, locally sourced cuisine with three curated food packages — The Hearth, The Harvest, and The Reserve — each reflecting the best of what the Finger Lakes has to offer. Full beverage packages, cocktail hour stations, and late night snack add-ons are available to complete your evening. Custom menu discussions are welcome.
