St James Bay Golf Club - Wedding
From the first moment we met Krista we knew we had found someone we could easily work with, she was attentive, kind and really easy going.
She made this whole experience stress free, and went above and beyond including on the day when she stepped up to help set up the table arrangements and run equipment back and forth from vehicles.
Venue - Incredible, its one of the most beautiful golf courses in the Panhandle. The ceremony was done on the 18th fairway just before the green with a last minute change to face the water, with zero hiccups. The photos have come out amazing.
Reception - Best day ever tent rental was perfect. They had everything set up on the Friday evening, and down by Sunday midday. The staff was incredible and welcoming and the whole day flowed perfectly.
FOOD - INCREDIBLE, we went with the buffet option, Grouper Plicata, Prime Rib, Chicken cordon bleu, absolutely knocked it out the park. Most guests went up for seconds with plenty to go around.
The staff plated the salad for all seated guests which was a great addition to the proceedings.
Alcohol - Mix of open bar, and pre paid service outside. 10/10. Krista again was very accommodating and let us decide on a lot of things, including pulling out a hail mary and getting Nutrl's last minute instead of white claws.
Staff - 10/10 the wait staff the bar staff everyone involved in the day was incredibly welcoming and beyond friendly to us and our guests.
Accommodation - A lot of guests were from out of town/country. 25% of them stayed on the golf course and loved the venue. perfect location 30 minutes from st george island beach, great breakfast buffet! ideal for guests traveling.
We rented two villas closest to the reception area, which made getting ready perfect for both of us, highly recommend getting those villas, extremely well priced nightly rate.
All in Al. We cannot say enough good things about this venue and experience, the day was perfect. The feedback from the guests was incredible, and we truly hope this review inspires others to use this location as we promise it will be magical.
