In all honesty, they were a STEAL for everything that we got and everything they did. They were the least expensive caterer we found, including restaurants and bbq places who didn’t even offer full service catering, just the food and delivery. With Special Occasions Catering, they responded right away throughout the entire planning process which was a huge deal to me. Anytime I wanted to change or add something, they would do it right then and there through e-mail and send me a new invoice right away. We had two tastings where we got to choose what we wanted to taste and went over everything we needed and what foods we wanted and what services we would be getting, and we didn’t have to go anywhere else after just the first tasting. The tastings were so much fun and you got so much food!!!! We even got to take our leftovers home. In our catering package we got, 2 entrees, 2 sides, a vegetable, and rolls and butter were included. The full service that was included was, someone coming to our venue to set up, decorate, clean up the guest tables, throw out trash, clean up and package our leftovers. We also got beautiful plastic plates, utensils and napkins. We also paid a little extra for our caterer to cut and serve and our cake, which helped TREMENDOUSLY!! I didn’t know how we were going to go about that part until they told us it was something we could include. The caterer came to the venue, set up, served some cake, cleaned up, and left. It was flawless and easy and I never had to worry about one thing. The food was incredible! It was so hot and fresh and we got sooooo many compliments including, “I could eat that food everyday.” When you are a bride, you want to be proud of what was served to your guests and I was. I was very worried about how they would decorate and what it would look like and if it would match up to my standards. I had planned everything myself to make my wedding look and feel like my dream and I was nervous about someone taking over the buffet table decorations. But, when I walked out and saw the GORGEOUS display the caterer was creating that matched perfectly and even ADDED to my beautiful set up, I cried tears of relief and joy. I am so thankful for Special Occasions Catering and the amazing, inexpensive services that they provide.

Special Ocassions worked with us from start to finish to make sure everything was just perfect! They stayed the entire event and made sure everything went as planned! The food was amazing and they even included some of our decorations!!

So much more than I could have ever asked for and beyond affordable! I didn’t expect them to decorate my buffet table but they did and it was PERFECT! The food was amazing, try the yankee pot roast! And they gave me my Mac and cheese bar. They are located a little out of our area, but so worth the trip and the minimal fee they charge for gas way out there for me! Highly recommended!

Special occasions catering is very professional and willing to listen to your wants and needs. You never have to worry about anything with them. They are also very flexible and don't mind how much you contact them with questions.

We used Special Occasions Catering for our June 2015 wedding. First, let me say that it was the best decision we made throughout the entire wedding planning process. The food, decorations and service were TOP-NOTCH!!

Special Occasions took care of all the decorating of the reception hall, which is also where we held the ceremony. We had other plans to have the ceremony (private) at a different location. However, we changed our minds at the last minute because of how beautiful SOC made the hall look. Our guests repeatedly told us that they had never seen the place look so amazing!

SOC prepared one of the best meals we had ever had in our lives. We had shrimp cocktail, stuffed mushrooms, bruschetta, and more for appetizers. For dinner: Prime Rib, Chicken Florentine, Tri-color roasted potatoes, spinach salad and more. All the food was phenomenal!!! It’s been months since our wedding and we often still think of how amazing the food was and wish that we could eat it again. The cake and deserts, also prepared by SOC, were right up there with the rest of the food. The staff was very efficient and professional. They had everything ready for us and nobody left hungry. They even packaged and prepared all the leftover food for us to take home.

It is well known that a bride and groom only want their special day to be perfect and memorable for themselves and for their guests. Well SOC did just that for us! Our guests are still talking and will be for a long time, about how beautiful and wonderful our entire reception was.

Special Occasions Catering executed our wedding reception PERFECTLY!! They are an outstanding catering company with exceptional customer service and talent. We would highly recommend this catering company to anyone and everyone.

The company provided our table covers. They personally brought them to my house so we could decorate the reception space on Friday instead of waiting for them to come on Saturday. Everyone that I worked with was extremely friendly and helpful. The free tasting was fun and the food at the reception was really good. They provided cups, plates, napkins, and silverware. The prices are very resonable. I would highly recommend this company for any occasion that you need catered.

I can not recommend Special Occasions Catering enough. First of all the staff is wonderful to work with. They were extremely flexible with a new venue they had never catered at. The food is deliscious and I had so many rave reviews about how wonderful it tasted, looked and was presented. The pricing is extremely affordable and can't be beat for everything you get. I added on extra appetizers, desserts, and late night snack and it was still far below anyone else's prices. If you are looking for a traditional dinner (plated or buffet), or something off beat like I was this is the caterer to call!

First of all the food is out of this world. I went to a wedding and Special Occassions were the caterers and the food was delicious. This is why I had to have them for my wedding. Once again delicious food! Everyone has commented to us how good it was. Also my venue was two hours away and they did not hesitate to travel at all! I highly recommend them to anyone

They are very professional and extremely nice. Their food was fantastic! We had plenty of food and lots of leftovers. The staff was so helpful and the setup was beautiful. The setup crew was very fast and did a fabulous job! I would highly recommend them.
