We hired Sound & Light Creations for my daughters wedding 6/11/16. Scott and his crew transformed the Bloomington Marriott Ballroom into something Magical. The uplighting, backdrop, chandelier and ceiling drapery were beyond amazing! We wanted to create a romantic feel to the room... Scott delivered more than what we could have imagined!!!
So happy we chose Sound & Light Creations for our event...without hesitation, I would use them again!!! Money well spent.

Sound & light were amazing and kept our New Year's Eve reception very lively! It seemed like there was always people on the dance floor! They also did all the draping and uplighting and it looked fantastic!

We hired Sound & Light Creations as both our DJ company and up-light decorator for our May 2nd wedding in Peoria, Illinois at the Pere Marquette.
When we were asked about what sort of lighting we wanted in the reception room, we were totally clueless! We let our company contact, Scott Fort work with our decorator to figure out the best color pallet, since they are the experts! When we saw the room, we were absolutely floored by the beautiful pink up-lighting! He had done an amazing job to draw on the decorations and natural beauty in the room. He even included a huge monogram, which matched our wedding invitations, and projected it above the head table throughout the night. He used tall light fixtures at the corners of the dance floor to add fun, colorful features throughout the dance portion of the night.

Scott kept the night moving with his MC talents and got the cake cutting, speeches, and first dances going in a timely manner. Some of the speeches included visuals, too, so he provided a screen and projector and worked with the speakers to play the video clips at the right time. He then used the projector the rest of the evening to display photos we had provided.
Scott worked with one partner, and they did a fabulous job playing songs that were appropriate for the mood and time of night. We didn't have to worry a bit about inappropriate songs or hearing lyrics that would offend our elderly guests. There were a few songs we had requested that he did not get to, but for the most part he honored all of our must/do not play songs.
We were extremely happy with his work and highly recommend him to any other couples in the Peoria area looking for a good DJ or lighting!

We worked with Derrick and Parker and absolutely could not have been more pleased!!!! From beginning to end Derrick went above and WAY beyond any expectations we could have had. He even helped us find our cake lady, decorator and venue for our rehearsal dinner! Who does that?! Sound and light creations does that ;) If you want to show up at your wedding and not have to worry about a single detail sound and light creations is the way to go!

We hired Sound & Light Creations for our wedding. We spent a lot of time looking for the right company for our reception because the music was very important to us and family. When we found Sound & Light Creations, we HAD to have the lighting the provide. After looking at other companies in the Peoria area, we found there was nothing out there close to what this company can do. We worked with the owner Scott. He was great!!!! Our event was at a large hotel where they work a lot. I must say that we weren't disappointed! The ballroom was unbelievable! Scott and his assistant were great! The reception went very smoothly, the music was perfect and we heard all night long how awesome of a time our guests had. I highly recommend these guys!!!

Scott and Adam were great!!! The kept our reception flowing, played exactly what we wanted when it came to our playlist and the lighting they provided was absolutely AMAZING!!!! Adam was our DJ and was very fun to work with, he made sure things flowed nicely but was never pushy about anything.

I was extremely happy with Sound and Light Creations! Scott was the dj at my wedding reception, and he did a fantastic job. He met with us beforehand and discussed all of our information. The information sheets he provided helped a great deal in planning how the reception would go - and he gave great song suggestions. Scott coordinated all of the reception events, and everything went very smoothly. I would highly recommend Sound and Light Creations to other couples out there looking for a dj! Sound and Light Creations was amazing! They kept our whole reception running smoothly and kept the party going! We loved that they were constantly checking on us making sure everything was going the way we wanted and the kept the party moving! Wonderful! I would highly recommend them to anyone that wants to have a fantastic reception!

They were a great team! The music was awesome and they kept the dance floor moving the whole night. They did a good job at keeping the reception moving and worked with the caterer and photographer. They met with us before hand and talked to us about how they run a reception based on the crowd and the type of music. They were great! They also did our photo slideshow and did a great job with that. I would recommend them to any bride!

We had a wonderful experience using Sound & Light Creations at our wedding reception. We met with Scott a few times beforehand to go over all of the details and he is very easy to work with. At times it was hard to get ahold of him through e-mail, but he was always very responsive to phone calls, so it wasn't an issue. Then, Adam worked our wedding and we were extremely pleased with his work. He was patient, kind, and wonderful at his job! He followed the playlist we created exactly and made sure to check with us for the order/time of events and all announcements. I'm very happy that we chose Sound & Light creations for our DJ and would absolutely recommend them!!
