Wedding Cakes
We had an INCREDIBLE time working with Carl at Sonia’s Sweet Inspirations. They made our gorgeous wedding cake and three additional sheet cakes with different flavors for our guests. We had a few changes to our order over the course of planning and Carl was so easy to work with and patient with us throughout. We ordered red velvet, strawberry cheesecake, and pineapple cakes and each one was so moist and delicious that our guests couldn’t get enough. The cakes were also HUGE - super tall and served way more than we expected. We cannot wait to order cakes from them for future occasions or just to pop by for a sweet treat!

Beautiful and delicious!!
Our cake was exactly what we asked for from Sonia and it looked almost identical to the picture we sent them! They set it up right on the cake stand we bought, let me pay over the phone, come in to try cake flavors, and we ended up picking the lemon cake which was DELICIOUS! They were on time, the cake was perfect and they even brought extra flowers in case we wanted to add more! 10/10!

Book Sonia’s!!
We reached out to Sonia’s about 15 months before our wedding to see if they would make our sweet treats. Knowing it was a summer Saturday and not close by, we were prepared for them to decline. They did not, even initially agreeing to deliver it there, almost 2 hours away (thankfully we eventually realized we didn’t need them to).
If you know Carl & Sonia, you know they are amazing people. They created the dessert bar of our dreams and packaged it perfectly for the trek to Rusty Rail. Guests raved! We raved and couldn’t have been more excited to have our local faves as our sweets vendor!

The Perfect Wedding Cake
Sonia’s Sweet Inspirations made our wedding cake and it was better than I could’ve imagined! Sonia is such a talented baker. It looked and tasted PERFECT! We chose 2 flavors - chocolate hazelnut and vanilla. Everyone was talking about how pretty and tasty our cake was. Karl is such a kind person as well, they are so organized and made me feel like we were in really good hands.

Sweet staff, sweet treats.
My husband picked up over 20 cupcakes to try flavors for our wedding cakes at the Shawnee inn for our October 2021 wedding. Every flavor was phenomenal with just the right amount of sugar. It was hard to pick! We ended up going with mango, chocolate salted Caramel and white cake with chocolate butter cream for our wedding sheet cakes. They were all so delicious and our guests can't stop talking about them. The staff was very warm and helpful. Can't wait to go back!

Excellent!
I have been getting desserts from Sonia's for as long as they have been open. They are the best of the best so there was no doubt in my mind we would choose them for our wedding. Her and her husband are extremely kind people and I love to support their business. We got an assortment of cupcakes and small desserts and a small cake and everything was fantastic. Everything was delivered to our venue day of.
