To anyone reading my review regarding Son of a jeweler, let me start by telling you that I had gone to 3 different jewelry shops, 1 in Fremont and 2 in Newark, prior to discovering Son of a jeweler, well I’m glad I did, because they are different than the other 3 shops where I had some terrible/mediocre work done!

What set this shop apart is the quality and customer service that the other 3 shops were and are lacking!!

Upon entering their shop during my first visit I was first approached by Kathy and Lyndsey, very sweet and nice girls by the way, I brought in 3 silver bracelets and this was the first jewelry shop who didn’t refuse to fix my silver jewelry, I was issued a receipt and tag to pick up my jewelry once finished, they did a great job and the price was fair, I returned a few weeks later with gold jewelry because I was happy and pleased with their craftsmanship and Customer Service, they were able to build beautiful gold bezels around my antique gold coins to attach to my bracelet and it is now a charm bracelet, beautiful by the way, they did a great job!

I also had them fix my dog’s gold chain and charm, also brought in a couple of hefty gold bracelets to have safety chains attached to them and they did a good job as well!

I purchased a gold ring with baguette rubies from them and before Christmas they helped me find 2 gold chains for my nieces Christmas presents, that was a life saver by the way!!

They made a beautiful Purple Sapphire with diamonds, Gold and platinum pendant that is exquisite!

But… Here’s the exciting part… They will work with you even when you bring in your own Gold, Platinum, Silver, Diamonds and Precious Stones, you just pay the manufacturing cost/labor and the price is very fair, they offer costume work and they will design jewelry using a Cam Cad whether it being your own design or they will design it for you, they were able to replicate and create rings using a simple photo with a few added tweaks with my own taste and style.

Kathy and I worked through the process making corrections on the CAD images and once completed the results were amazing, impressive and overall gorgeous!

Everybody in the shop is very helpful and polite and down to earth, what I like the most about this jewelry shop is that is run and managed by Women with the exception of the male goldsmiths.

So Tina… Thank you very much for having a beautiful shop filled with great customer service, quality, a great jewelry selection to offer any of your customers with the amazing comparable prices!

So people reading this review you can believe that Son of a jeweler will take care good care of all of your jewelry needs!!!

The team here is wonderful. They were happy to use our family stones to design a ring that truly brought generations together. Fantastic service and a wonderful experience. I love my ring!

Son of a Jeweler helped my fiance pick out the perfect diamond and set it on a specific band. They also spent time helping us pick out wedding bands. They ordered bands that they did not have in store, but that we wanted to see in person. The staff offered to create a custom wedding band for me since I've not found one that I love yet. Although I didn't opt for the custom band, they have been very professional and friendly. They want to be sure that their guests have the best experience possible.
