My husband and I are both videographers by profession, and I used to film weddings as a small business for a few years. When we got engaged - a lot of our guests would joke “I wouldn’t want to be the one to photograph your wedding” - joking that we would be tough to please. But from the moment I found Sincerely, The Kitchens - Julia and Garrett - on Instagram through the final delivery of our photos, I have been amazed at their professionalism, talent, art, and work. I reached out back in late 2019. After a delightful phone call with Julia, I immediately wanted to book them. They spoke our language, had our style, and their work was exactly what I pictured.

When the pandemic hit, they didn’t miss a beat and held my reservation for an entire year (at no additional cost). Because of our long distance, we, unfortunately, were not able to take advantage of their included engagement session (and the pandemic), but they were nice enough to rework a discounted price for us. I followed both Julia and Garrett on Instagram through the pandemic, and when they showed up on my wedding day, I felt like I was greeting old friends. They were so attentive to every detail, got every photo request that I had asked for, and covered our day graciously (including two massive family photos that were a big undertaking for any photographer).

I also LOVE that they are a husband and wife duo and do both photography and videography. As a former wedding videographer, who has worked with a variety of other vendors, I loved that they were a team and knew exactly how to work together and not get in each other’s way. Our video is still in the works, but I have no doubt I will love it as much as I love our wedding photos. I cannot wait to order our wedding album. Don’t hesitate - book The Kitchens today! We are SO thankful that we chose The Kitchens as our photography/videography vendors. From the very first phone call that I had with Julia, I felt like we were instant friends- she was so easy to talk to and she did not beat around the bush with what they offer. Julia did our engagement shoot and we were super nervous that we would come off awkward in the photos, but she made us look like professional models!
