Julia and Garrett were an amazing choice for our wedding festivities! Julia photographed our engagement shoot and made that such an easy and fun day. She even drove all the way to Longwood Gardens to meet us for the shoot. After seeing her style with the engagement pictures, I knew she would absolutely kill it for the wedding pictures and she has not disappointed from the sneak-peeks we've seen so far. Both Julia & Garrett were such angels to work with. They were kind, professional, and very efficient. Their artistic capabilities are so vividly shown in their work and it was the best investment we could have made. It unfortunately rained on both our welcome party and wedding day but they found ways to capture memories of us in the rain that were so romantic and perfect, while also making sure to find moments we could get pictures without the rain.

My husband and I are both videographers by profession, and I used to film weddings as a small business for a few years. When we got engaged - a lot of our guests would joke “I wouldn’t want to be the one to photograph your wedding” - joking that we would be tough to please. But from the moment I found Sincerely, The Kitchens - Julia and Garrett - on Instagram through the final delivery of our photos, I have been amazed at their professionalism, talent, art, and work. I reached out back in late 2019. After a delightful phone call with Julia, I immediately wanted to book them. They spoke our language, had our style, and their work was exactly what I pictured.

When the pandemic hit, they didn’t miss a beat and held my reservation for an entire year (at no additional cost). Because of our long distance, we, unfortunately, were not able to take advantage of their included engagement session (and the pandemic), but they were nice enough to rework a discounted price for us. I followed both Julia and Garrett on Instagram through the pandemic, and when they showed up on my wedding day, I felt like I was greeting old friends. They were so attentive to every detail, got every photo request that I had asked for, and covered our day graciously (including two massive family photos that were a big undertaking for any photographer).

I also LOVE that they are a husband and wife duo and do both photography and videography. As a former wedding videographer, who has worked with a variety of other vendors, I loved that they were a team and knew exactly how to work together and not get in each other’s way. Our video is still in the works, but I have no doubt I will love it as much as I love our wedding photos. I cannot wait to order our wedding album. Don’t hesitate - book The Kitchens today! Julia did our family photos... my son had never been photographed so he was allll over the place!! She was fantastic with him and sooo patient. I just knew the we’d hardly have any photos come out but I was completely wrong! Not only did they look great but there were so many!!

The wedding planning process can be difficult but choosing the Kitchens to shoot our wedding was by far the easiest and best decision I ever made!!
