After interviewing several floral teams to put something special together for our wedding celebration, it became very clear that Marilyn and her team are experts but more importantly—that they care about each bride who walks through their door. We asked Silver Cricket to help us turn a lovely but industrial restaurant into a lush, wooded setting for our vows and the great party to follow. We also wanted to not only bring in the rich green of the mountains but fold in elements of Japanese ikebana (floral arrangement) to honor my husband’s family heritage. Throughout the process, we had so much fun working with Marilyn!

Marilyn’s ability to take our disjointed input and help us organize and crystalize exactly what we wanted without taking us down the typical ‘white roses bridal path’ was simply awesome. The team suggested fun and surprising elements for the little ones in our party—crafting a lovely box for our ring bearers and hair pieces as well as wand for our flower girl. My bouquet was a work of art—a compilation flower that was stunning for our wedding and still looks lovely as it has dried. But, the true show stopper was the alter, décor and table scapes that Silver Cricket brought to life for our wedding. Our green garlands, driftwood flower arrangements and ikebana pieces all came together to complement each other, flickering in the candle light and studded with white and gold paper cranes.

After each meeting, I felt that Marilyn wanted to help us bring our vision to life. Each suggestion felt custom and original to us, and the team suggested reasonable solutions, helping us to stay within budget.

Marylin from Silver Cricket pretty much saved the wedding. I was very behind in the planning and our event planner contacted her for us suggesting she give us a call. She called us right away and roughly two weeks out planned all the flowers for the wedding. I sent her a few images from pinterest, our budget, and she worked with the wedding planner on he space. I think I only spoke with her about 4 times and then on the wedding day I showed up to absolutely beautiful flowers, even better than I could have imagined. She had great suggestions for fitting our budget and keeping the look we wanted even though some of the flowers I had in mind were not in season and would have taken weeks to get in and cost a ton. Really beautiful, organized and effortless and I loved it.

Marilyn and her team at Silver Cricket are some of the most talented florists in the state of Utah. They truly do magical work. I simply gave them my color scheme and the look/feel I wanted for the ceremony and reception and they executed it more beautifully than I could ever have imagined.

We had such a good experience with Marilyn. I met with her twice and she was so easy to work with. She was open to all my ideas and she also had great ways to repurpose our floral to help save money - i.e. using our aisle markers for table settings. The small details they put into each floral arrangement did not go unnoticed. She incorporated wood into the boutonnieres, which I thought was such a nice touch. They even made one for the ring bearer which was too cute! They also made floral/leaf crowns for myself, my bridesmaids, and my flower girls and they were absolutely gorgeous. My crown matched my bouquet. Her crew went over the top for set up. They even added some pieces in certain places that I hadn't thought of which elevated the decor more. I also thought they were extremely affordable for what they gave us. They helped create my perfect 'Pinterest' wedding!

They did such an amazing job and exceeded our expectations! They were so patient in working with me to understand exactly what I was looking for. They also did a great job of making the bridal party bouquets look EXACTLY like a picture I had showed them. They were also extremely responsive as well. We got so many comments about how gorgeous and unique the flowers were the entire night of the wedding. They were very competitively priced as well. Would HIGHLY recommend them!

This place was amazing and the flowers came out perfect. I had to do some last minute stuff and they came through and did an amazing job!

Marilyn is a gifted florist, she thinks outside of the box and has such a creative flare. Her log center pieces with tea lights and flowers made my reception something that no one has seen before!
