Where to begin!! Not only is this group is so much fun, they are so sweet and accommodating. Michael and Angela drove quite a distance just to meet us and see the venue before our big day. We booked them for our wedding in St. Augustine and they exceeded expectations! They are extremely thoughtful, professional and SO talented. We had around 250 people at our wedding and every person danced until the venue was shut down. I could not write enough praise for Silkee Smoove, Thank you for making our day so special and fun!

My husband Geoff and I were married in 2011 in Cocoa Beach, Florida. We had a sneaker tropical storm (technically a hurricane with 81 mph winds) show up that threw everything into chaos. Tents broke + flew away, our location was completely flooded, we had to move the location 4 hours before the ceremony. Good times.

Silkee Smoove was a shining beacon of awesomeness amongst the craziness. They rolled with it all like pros and crammed their set up into a much smaller space than we'd originally planned for. They made our wedding incredible. People danced all night. The music was phenomenal. I honestly can't say enough nice things here. They are THE BEST.

From the first point of contact, way back when, Angella + Mike were so easy to chat with — even from afar (we live in San Francisco). We still keep in touch and my Florida-based family tries to get to their gigs whenever possible. Geoff + I are both musicians and I am a Motown fanatic — Silkee Smoove is legit. I felt like Bill Withers + Stevie Wonder were at our wedding. Even my mom was dancing (that does not happen).

Hiring Silkee Smoove Band for our wedding celebration was one of the best decisions we made! They are incredible and our guests still rave about how much fun they had (3 years later) and always say "your band was awesome!". We still try to see Silkee Smoove when they perform locally because they're music is so good and they're simply wonderful people! This band is amazing! We had them playing outside at an historic venue. .. the plugs were terrible but they were so flexible and made it all work. Michael and Angela Hall are the nicest people ever. They met us at our venue way in advance to check everything out and go over everything. The band even learned the couple's first dance song for us and it was beautiful. Our friends are still talking about the great band we had. FUN FUN FUN!!

This is the best band in the land bar none. Very accommodating to our specific needs as far as playlist, timing, dress and setup constraints. Any event I have they are my first and only call.

My wife and I were married at The Renaissance Vinoy in St Petersburg on March 19th, 2016. We chose Silkee Smoove as our entertainment and to say that the band exceeded our expectations would be the understatement of the century. From the moment that we first contacted Silkee Smoove and even up to a couple of weeks after the event, each step of the process was a true joy.
The booking process was done through Band Manager Angela Hall and Band Leader Michael Hall. Their attention to detail and genuine interest in our event is hard to come by. They were so incredibly flexible throughout the process and catered to every request we threw at them. Even when some things changed minutes before they were scheduled, Silkee Smoove just made it happen.
As far as the band’s performance is concerned, I, along with every guest I’ve spoken to, all agree that it was the best entertainment they’ve ever seen at a wedding. They were absolutely incredibly! They played all of the songs we’d previously requested and omitted the songs we weren’t fond of. They even learned one special request song in a few weeks before our event! Every single song was the best live version I’ve heard.
