They did the music for my wedding and the were great. His wife helped with the timing of everything.

We had shockwave sound so our reception to his past weekend on october 22. They did an excellent job. We were a little skeptical a team first after seeing one what review but they did great. Theyvwere very nice, played the songs we wanted, didn't play songs we didn't want, and did a great job at the timeline for the night. The sound was great and we were in a big open space inside. We had old and young people dancing to the music. They were willing to meet with us within a weeks notice 3 separate times. There was only one bad thing and one skipped for a couple seconds. That is my only complaint and it's not it a big deal at all. overall 5/5

My guests were very happy and they all had a great time. He was able to fit the music to what the guests wanted. The announcements could have been louder and more clear some people were confused on what was going on. Other than that great party!!

We were very unhappy Shock Wave Sound at our daughter's wedding in Columbus, Ohio on May 14, 2016. We cannot give them a good review. The DJ has no personality; sound quality was terrible (where was the bass?); the announcing was abrupt (no build up, no excitement generated, no drawing the crowd to the dance floor); total screw up on Father/daughter dance (my son pulled up the song on his phone for their use. This song was beyond special to my daughter and husband, and it got botched); Groom and mother, and anniversary dance songs were not properly announced and were a total bust. No blend of songs to reach all ages. It appeared there was very little, if any, prior review of the songs the bride and groom submitted to them, and no work on their part to blend the bride and groom's choices with other popular tunes. No effort to provide music that would get people clapping, and moving to the beat (and my family loves to dance at events). We will not recommend this group to any friends, family, acquaintances, or coworkers. The fee the group charged was overpriced for what was delivered. There was no professionalism at all. They also are very difficult to get in touch with.
