I wanted to go to my normal stylist to have my hair done, but she doesn't work on Saturdays. She came in special for my wedding and asked two other girls to come in as well. The price was reasonable, and four of us had our hair and make-up done in less than two hours. They also let us bring in breakfast (since it was 7am). We looked great all day, and the only touch-up needed was a bit of lipstick! I can't wait until my next appointment to show them my pictures!!

Shear-Lock Combs offered a high quality of service at a fair price. I didn't blow my budget for hair and make-up. Everyone was extremely nice and cared to make my experience special. The salon is very professional and flexibly. I had pictures of what I wanted and Melissa made the style my own by incorporating some changes we agreed on.

I would not advice you to get your make up done with them. We had a large group and all the hair turned out great and most of the make-up looked good too, except mine. The foundation color they put on me was way too dark. It was nowhere near my skin color. I even bothered to have a make-up trial where she figured out what the right skin color would be, so I really do not understand what happened. Clearly she was not paying attention. I ended up wiping all the foundation off and redoing it myself. I had really wanted to have airbrush make-up for my wedding, but I was not about to look orange.
