Shawnese was amazing. She was very professional , responsive, and very sweet. She was able to work on all different hair types and made everyone feel like a million bucks. We absolutely loved her!! Shawnese is the best ! If you don't hire her you will be missing out ! Her energy is sooo positive!!

Shawnese was AMAZING! She was very professional, a great communicator, and did a wonderful job doing my hair on the day of my wedding. I was VERY nervous about how my wedding look would come together and it it would last the entire night. I booked her pretty late in the game, so I didn't have the time to do a trial, which added to my nervousness. She arrived on time on the day of and wand curled my hair to perfection! She was so sweet and personable, which helped to calm my nerves about my hair. The curls lasted the entire night through lots of dancing and sweating. Book her for your wedding look!

AMAZING! I loved her work and would chose her again and again if I could! She's just such an artist! She made me feel so special and beautiful on my wedding day and shes such a delight to talk to. She kept me calm and cheerful while prepping me for all events, and she was able to work with me for adding additional people to get hair done very last minute. If I ever need hair done again, I would hands down go to Shawnese!

Words cannot express how much I love Shawnese ! From the moment I met her, I knew it was going to be one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. Booking with her is very easy and she is very quick to respond to emails. Being an out of town bride, she was very accommodating when it came to scheduling my hair trial. When I showed her pictures of what I envisioned on my wedding day, she knew exactly what I wanted and we were on the same page. My hair looked amazing after my trial and I was so excited for my wedding day.

The day of, she showed up early with her assistant. All of my bridesmaids, my mom, and my mother-in-law absolutely loved her and loved their hair as well. We made a few minor adjustments to my hair the day of that were slightly different than the trial. I can honestly say my hair looked even better the day of than it did at the trial and I didnt even think that was possible. My hair was exactly how I imagined it. It looked so beautiful. I absolutely loved the style she did on my bridesmaids as well.

I have to say that even though Shawnese did the most amazing job on all our hair, she did so much more than that. Shawnese is truly one of the kindest people I have ever met. She was so sweet throughout every encounter that we had. The day of the wedding I'm sure she could tell that I was a nervous wreck and she was just so nice and calming on a really hectic day. She also helped me do things she didnt even have to do. My mom was struggling to help me fix and button my dress and Shawnese stepped in to help even after she was done with all of our hair. You can tell she truly loves what she does. She was truly a blessing throughout my whole wedding experience and I would choose her over and over again !

A complete moment to remember from start to finish. My wonderful day was made that more special because of her spectacular artistic skills on my hair. The pictures came out beautifully and I can't thank her enough for making my special day more special!

Shawnese is simply amazing! I have been being unkind to my natural hair due to my job being so stressful some days. I will normally do a wash and go which dries out during the day or pull back a tight bun. My hair was a mess. I was in my friend’s wedding and so I found her page through a friend and I made my hair appointment. All I can say is, WOW. She restored my hair back to a great, full, bouncy, shiny, just amazing state. A lot of people don’t do natural hair well but Shawnese did an amazing, amazing job. It didn’t even frizz on the night out of the rehearsal dinner and lasted through the wedding day festivities and beyond. She just restored so much moisture! Thank you shawnese! I'm so glad I was able to work with Shawnese, and she was so easy to work with! I was an out-of-town bride, and luckily she is a morning person so she was able to work with my travel schedule for my trial early in the morning. On wedding day we started getting ready early also for our noon wedding so she could have plenty time for any just-in-case mishaps (thankfully there were none). That is very comforting to a bride, and one less thing to worry about! She was also able to make my hair more beautiful than I imagined, as I had not seen that particular style much so I don't think there were many references to go by. Shawnese also did a wonderful job on everyone else's hair. I am so grateful she had availability on my wedding date, and her type A personality really sat well with me as a bride. SM Hair Couture prepared my hair for my wedding in October. Not only did Shawnese get the up-do totally correct, we had a trial run that was very detailed and thorough...she knows her STUFF! The price was right, the time it took for her to do the trial and the actual day of wedding hair was UNREAL- she was quick and efficient....my hair never fell out and I didn't have a headache from the bobby-pins. It was seriously, perfection.
