Shamrock Hall is a great space to host your wedding reception or banquet. The hall has a seating capacity of 350. This area is ideal for dances, banquets, wedding receptions and other large events. The area has a sound system that can be used to serve your corporate meeting needs. On the west end of the hall is a full~service kitchen with two gas ovens, a eight burner stove, two convection ovens, warming ovens, an ice machine, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers and a clean~up area with garbage disposals. The kitchen has windows that allow for a food~serving line. We can supply you with a list of approved caterers. Liquor can be served by renters to invited guests provided it is an open bar and served by the St Patrick's Men's Club. In addition, the renter must hire pre~approved security and cease serving liquor at the designated time. Call for specific regulations regarding the serving of liquor. My husband and I were looking for a reception venue that would allow us to bring in our own alcohol and and use a family friend as our caterer. At most venues, you have to use their licensed caterers and their alcohol, and they charge you an arm and a leg for food minimums, corking fees, etc. I was surprised when we found Shamrock Hall, which allowed us to do exactly what we wanted! We didn't have to choose from a list of caterers, there was a commercial grade kitchen for our caterer to use, and we were allowed to bring in our own bottles of wine, kegs of beer, and liter bottles of liquor. On top of that, the hall manager (Denise) was extremely helpful. She has clearly done this many times before, as she was prepared for every question we threw her way. She was also very helpful the day before our wedding when we were setting up the reception hall. She helped us set things out, ironed some of our tablecloths, and gave her opinion when I wasn't exactly sure what to do.

It was spacious enough for our 250 guests, no one felt crowded, and there was plenty of room for the dance floor without having to move any tables. There was also plenty of room for a big head table up front (my sister and I had a double wedding, so we had 18 people up there!) The biggest perks were being able to hire our own catering, alcohol, and cake which allowed us to save quite a chunk of money. They were also very flexible and quickly responded to our questions. We mostly brought everything in ourselves to save money, but they had plenty of options to rent things through them as well.
