Incredible Venue, Unbeatable Value

Andrea, Sally and the Sequoyah team are incredible. From start to finish, they were supportive, accommodating, professional, with incredible quality. During the planning process, I don't know how many emails, calls and texts I sent their way and every time they got back to me quickly and provided me all information, help and suggestions I asked for.

The food was fantastic. Our tasting was exceptional and I went into our wedding confident that our guests would be served delicious quality food, and boy did they deliver.

On the day itself, my coordinator was a disaster, and there were a few moments where I thought I might lose it. But their team stepped up and several of the staff members went out of their way to correct the mistakes and ensure my vision became a reality. I can't say enough wonderful things about the team.

Stunning, classic venue with gorgeous photo spots and a powerhouse team. They were worth every penny.

My Dream Wedding

We just had our wedding at Sequoyah this past weekend. Everything was perfect.
The venue itself is stunning. It is such a beautiful setting for a wedding. We had our ceremony on the lawn and the reception inside. We spent the day getting ready on site and my entire bridal party kept commenting on how nice everything was. My dream was to get married amongst the redwoods and I cannot wait to see the photos from the day.
The food was next level. When I say the food was delicious, I don't mean "for a wedding". We had many guests compliment the food. I have a friend who is an admitted "steak snob". She made sure I knew how good the filet was.
Finally, the entire staff was wonderful to work with. We originally met with Andrea who showed us the venue. She was a big reason we chose Sequoyah. Andrea and Sally were helpful and flexible throughout the planning process. They were very responsive and made the process as easy as it could be. We hired a month-of coordinator who agreed they were wonderful. I would also like to mention Emma, who was so thoughtful and kind throughout the evening. After the wedding, I mentioned some of the nice things Emma did to my family and bridal party. Others had similar stories. She truly went above-and-beyond.
I cannot recommend Sequoyah enough. They gave me the perfect wedding experience!

Couldn't have asked for more - thank you Sequoyah!

Ah where do I start - Sequoyah (and Andrea / Sally) made our dream wedding come true! It was the perfect venue, and super reasonably priced!

I came across Sequoyah while searching Here Comes the Guide - we were looking for a place that wasn't "insanely expensive" and that would be convenient to the Bay Area. Andrea was very responsive when we scheduled a tour (and tasting) and I immediately fell in love with the giant windows, the Spanish tile, the terrace doors, and the vine-covered garden walls. And that was just after our first interaction. I was soon to learn that unlike other places, where they set ALL the super strict rules and everyone else revolves around them, Sequoyah really goes above and beyond to advise and develop your perfect event. Just the level of service alone seemed better than venues that cost 3x as much, and I truly feel like booking with them was the best decision we made for our wedding.

Over the next few months, it was like having two fairy godmothers - we'd hesitantly ask - hey we're thinking of ordering in Boba, or my fiance has a specific fish recipe for dinner, can we have napkins in fan shapes, or we can't find a hotel for our parents, or even I want to plan a small surprise for my fiance but it involves coordinating a bunch of people in secret - and always within a day, we'd get a resounding answer or often "yes, let me arrange it for you" accommodating our questions so graciously, no matter how ridiculous we felt asking. We changed our minds about whether to hold the cocktail hour indoors or outdoors and whether to book the fancy chairs (do it) the week of the wedding, and they were totally unfazed - Andrea and Sally and their teams were clearly pros.

Day of, all of our asks were realized way better than we could have even imagined. We were even able to bring up all our decor and store it the bridal suite the night before and do a quick practice run. The bridal suite was available starting the morning of, so we didn't have schedule hair and makeup elsewhere. The food was great - when they first offered to handle the boba I was skeptical, but the guests LOVED it. The lamb chop apps never made it far out the door because of adoring fans (though Andrea thoughtfully sneaked a whole plate to the bridal suite). Andrea, who was always just a delight to be around and super supportive and encouraging turned out to also be a magician, doing everything from golf cart driving to salad serving, and even supporting our day of coordinator who had been switched in by a vendor last minute due to COVID issues. Everything was perfect and she handled it with such grace and ease.

I can't recommend them enough. I'm only hoping for more life events to celebrate with them. Thank you for being awesome!
