As a viewer-reveler-dreamer myself it is my ultimate goal that I could tell through imagery the story of your wedding day. Catching the dreams, hopes, emotions, and JOY of your day in a timeless yet artistic way is my favorite part of this job. My hope is that you will have gorgeous wedding photos that capture intimate details, that you feel so confidently beautiful on your wedding day, and that because of that confidence I would get to capture the TRUE emotion of the day.

You can expect me to not over pose you. I enjoy shooting lifestyle or photojournalistic photography, which is a fancy way of saying reality. Of course, I always make it a point to capture the more traditional family portraits for posterity. I am skilled at teaching my couples how to capture the most becoming version of themselves, and make sure to put my clients at ease in front of the camera because confidence is beautiful.

How exactly do I put my clients at ease? They know me. Trust begins with a relationship starting with the first ‘Hello.’ My thought is that engagement sessions help build a strong foundation. The time I spend in an engagement session not only documents the fresh commitment made by the couple but is also an invaluable tool for my photography of the wedding day. This photo shoot allows me to learn how the couple relates to one another, what a true happy smile looks like, and how the couple comes across on camera. We will even get to have a quick modeling lesson session together. (Added bonus? It’s FUN!). On the flip side my couples get to know me during this time and we just get to have fun together. I have met so many sweet people through my business and feel privledged to call many of them friend. This is why all of our wedding packages include an engagement session.

You can expect to meet with me in person at least three times before your wedding date unless we are traveling to shoot your wedding. (In that case we will be seeing alot of each other via facetime!)
