The catering section of the company, Catering for Good, uses all proceeds made to the Second Harvest Culinary Training Program, where at-risk and disadvantaged people can learn valuable life skills that will help them get a job.

Lanette Jarvis began her career in the restaurant industry at the number one Steak House Company, Ruth's Chris Steak House when there were only four restaurants. Today the award-winning company has over 135 restaurants. She will tell anyone that will listen, that she was lucky to have had the pleasure to see the growth almost from the ground up; learning the business and how to take care of customers from the 1st lady of Steak, Ruth Fertel. Lanette retired from the steak house in 2008. She wanted to give back to her community so in 2013 began her second career as the Catering Sales Manager for Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. Lanette specializes in helping her clients find a way for their catering dollars to benefit their communities as they celebrate the milestones in life.
