Scholl’s Valley Lodge is an amazing venue with stunning views. All our wedding guests were complimenting us on the venue. We loved how we could have all our different events in different areas. (i.e. the ceremony on the lawn, cocktail hour in the lodge/grass underneath the lodge, and reception in the barn). The barn is just a fantastic spot for a reception (and a great back ceremony location if it rains). It’s huge and easily fit our wedding of 200 guests that showed, and the pre set up lights are very pretty when it starts to get dark, providing plenty of light. The rules are pretty flexible for adding your own decor in then barn if desired too.Sent on 09/10/2018
Michelle, the venue owner, was incredibly helpful and responsive to my nonstop emails and calls during the planning phase. During the venue walk through she made herself available to us and the other vendors for all questions. Also the close proximity of the venue to Portland is a much underrated aspect of the venue. Uber and Lyft were readily available for guests when leaving.

I don't even know where to start. Scholls Valley Lodge was the most perfect venue I could have ever imagined. I'll first start by saying that Michelle, the property manager, was an absolute joy to work with. She was so responsive and let us come out to the venue several times before the big day. Michelle was flexible and really cared about our day going right which meant a lot. Anyways, there are several reasons why SVL was perfect.
1) The setting is unreal. It is set on top of a hill and you get a near 360 view of the rolling hills and fields. The lodge and barn are gorgeous and everything feels very authentic. My mom likes to say elevated rustic :)
2) We were in control of everything. We were able to bring in our own caterer, tables, chairs, etc. It was great to have this level of flexibility
3) We were there for the entire day which was great. The girls and I arrived around 8:30am to begin getting ready (in the cutest rooms too) which was nice because we were able to relax and take our time. Our guests were out by around 10pm
4) THE VIEW. I'm so happy with the backdrop for both our ceremony (trees, fields, and farmland) and our reception (wildflowers and the mountains). You really can't beat it
We went to maybe 10 other venues before SVL and this was the first place that felt right. HIGHLY recommend.Sent on 01/12/2018

Scholls Valley Lodge was the perfect wedding venue for us! We had both been there for other weddings before and thought it would be great to add to our list of potential wedding venues. We toured them first when we started the search for our own wedding venue and instantly knew it was the one. We toured a few other spots after that, but kept coming back to wanting Scholls Valley Lodge. So glad we booked them!Sent on 08/14/2017
The venue had everything that we wanted: a beautiful space for an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour, a covered area for dinner and dancing, and best of all: the lodge! We really wanted a venue that we could have our friends and family stay at over night, so everyone could enjoy themselves and not worry about having to drive home that night. The lodge there is HUGE and fit our entire wedding party, close friends, and family for overnight stay after the wedding.
We were able to use all of our own vendors for catering, bar, etc. which was a huge plus. And they had tables, linens, and a kitchen there already which made everything really easy and convenient.
Michelle was great to work with and let us visit the venue several times for planning the layout, setup, etc. This place is a great value and you get so much for what you pay. We are definitely thinking about coming back to have our 5, 10, 20 year anniversary parties at Scholls Valley Lodge.
One of the most absolutely beautiful hidden gems you will come across in Washington County. When I receive inquiries to work at Scholls Valley Lodge, I literally squeal with excitement because I love the space and the venue coordinator so dearly. You'll love the property, but you'll be completely infatuated with the inside of the lodge and the thoughtfulness that went into the planning of the space!
What an amazing venue! From the rooms for getting ready, to the gorgeous views from the ceremony location, to the country chic reception area, this is a comfortable, photogenic venue with great staff. Highly recommended.
Scholls Valley Lodge is one of our favorite venues to work with. The coordinator (Michelle) is great to work with and super sweet. The venue itself is gorgeous and has an amazing view! It is in a convenient location (only about 15 minutes from Hillsboro) while still being in a breathtaking, rural setting.
