They made me the best wedding cake! I came in with a vague idea of what I wanted and they made it so much more than I was expecting! Loved the flavors of the cakes as well!!

Hands down the best cake I have ever tasted. We tried Sassy's Cafe at the Phoenix wedding expo and we immediately knew that they were the best option we tasted and the only vendor we wanted to make our wedding cake. They allowed us to pick different flavors and made our cake look exactly how I envisioned. Everyone said the cake was some of the best they have had at a wedding.

Great gluten free cake! We needed to order our cake 2 days before the wedding because of an issue with our original vendor and Sassy's had no problems doing it (it was a small cake).

We worked with Melody. She helped to design our wedding cake and she made some of the cookies for our cookie table. We chose red velvet for the cake and it was absolutely to die for. So moist and delicious. And they also made 180 sugar cookies with the frosting being in our wedding colors of lime green and navy blue!! So cool! Their sugar cookies are amazing and if you're ever in the area......stop by and get some. I believe they make them daily!

I had the most beautiful cup cake tower and rosette covered top cake for my wedding. It was such a hit at our wedding...we almost did not make it alive after the cutting due to the very impatient children at our wedding. I did not give a perfect score for 2 reasons. First, the cup cakes I tried were filled with cream and picked them due to that fact. However, the cup cakes that were delivered were not filled with cream per our guests. Second, my wedding was on Sunday and they are not open on Sunday so they delivered the cakes on Saturday. Luckly my venue was happy to store the cakes for free. In Sassy's defense, I tried a lot of cup cakes bakers and I was impressed by Sassy's professionalism and friendliness that I wanted to work with them despite this fact.

I chose Sassy's Cafe because their food tastes great especially their chocolate chip cookies. I met Melody at The Bridal Expo and scheduled a cake tasting for my fiance and I. We met with her husband Geoff to go over the details of what we wanted for our wedding reception I even brought pictures to show what I wanted our cake to look like. As we talked the only thing we got to try was a piece of fondant not what I was expecting for a cake trial at all. The communication with Melody and Geoff wasn't good because I had a hard time getting an e-mail response to my questions. The cake was delivered as requested but the decor with the icing looked like a kid did it not at all like the images I showed Geoff. If it wasn't for my cake topper it really would have looked bad. Needless to say everything tasted good and it was a good price but I wouldn't recommend this vendor to do any wedding cakes. Great food but lousy decorating skills.

I wish I could say that I loved Sassy's as a vendor, but unfortunately, they won the award for our absolute worst wedding vendor. We went to a bridal show and fell in love with their cake, so this is not a bad review on their product. The final product wer well-done, but their overall service was TERRIBLE. I met with them a few months after the bridal show and the cake slice cost/person had significantly increased, but I figured it was my fault for not coming in sooner. Then they tried to sell me a bunch more desserts for my dessert table than I needed. In the end, they convinced my mom to alter my order form to buy the extras without me present and those extras ended up uneaten and thrown away - waste of money. However, the biggest issue I had with Sassy's was communication. They refused to get back to me after our 1st meeting (with the owner). I called, I e-mailed, I drove 45 minutes in-person to finally schedule something since they wouldn't schedule me, then when I finally arrived for my 2nd meeting to pay our down-payment and give our order, the baker complained that I was there on an inconvenient day for her, gave me different and higher amounts for everything than the owner, and said she would have to e-mail me an invoice. Okay...so I waited for the total cost..and emailed again. NOTHING. This process lasted from November to March. Finally, 3.5 weeks before my wedding, I postmarked and snail-mailed something just to make sure they didn't back out of our wedding day and to find out the cost, and had to have my mom go in because I couldn't make their hours. They sent me an invoice the WEEK of my wedding with a due date for payment a month later. When my grandpa arrived on my wedding day to pick up desserts, they made him pay the balance even though THEIR INVOICE said it was due in one month. I understand paying at pick-up, but make sure YOUR INVOICE reflects that, especially since it was sent the same week. Overall, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! Already too much stress!
