About

With over 10 years of freelancing experience, Sarah brings beauty and elegance to your wedding, cocktail hour, reception, or private event. Due to her varied freelance experience, Sarah's repertoire is composed of a variety of musical genres, she performs everything from classical wedding selections to Wheezer. To ensure that your vision for the event is achieved, Mrs. Boren provides one-on-one consultation with each client. Sarah is available for performances throughout the Quincy and the Tri-State area.

Mrs. Boren returned to the Midwest in 2016 to continue her music career, after completing a Master of Music in harp performance at Temple University (Philadelphia, PA). Before moving to Philadelphia to study with the Philadelphia Orchestra's principle harpist and earn her Master's degree, Sarah received her Bachelor of Music degree from the Wheaton College Conservatory of Music (Wheaton, IL) where she studied with Faye Seeman.

Wonderful Experience

Sarah is the definition of professional and elegance. She added so much to my wedding and I am so thankful to have had her music on my special day. She is very experienced and amazing at what she does!

Sarah was totally amazing! She played at our wedding and we couldn't have had a better musician! She is knowledgeable, talented, and flexible. She was there early enough to get setup before guests arrived and gave excellent ideas on music choices that fit right in with the style we wanted. We are looking at using her for our vow renewals, even though we are thousands of miles away now. She is worth every penny and then some! You won't find a better all around harpist!

Sarah provided wonderful ambiance to our Gala at the Wine Room. She was very professional and added to the atmosphere of sophistication and class . The music was wonderful and she was flexible with our requests for timing. I would highly recommend her for any event.

I have observed Sarah providing Harp services in several settings and locations. I find her to be extremely professional and an excellent musician. She works hard to accommodate requests and provide a satisfying experience for whoever she is serving. She takes her job seriously and is aware of the responsibility that she has to make your event a success. You won't be disappointed!

We honestly can not say enough about Sarah. From the day we met her we felt comfortable and confident that she was perfect for our wedding. She was. She played everything we asked and provided some of her own suggestions, which flowed perfectly with what we chose. Sarah was professional and very flexible with the layout of the venue. She played our ceremony outdoors and then was able to play our cocktail hour as well. My wife and I received so many compliments about how lovely and elegant the harp was and what a beautiful touch it added. We will absolutely recommend her to everyone. She made our day perfect and we cannot thank her enough.
