Sara is amazing! I was having an extremely hard time finding someone to do mine and my mom's makeup as well as my 8 bridesmaids' hair. My wedding took place in Door County, but I live in Madison. Everyone in Madison that I found who was available wanted to charge a few hundred dollars to travel up to Door County, which is understandable, but wasn't really in our budget. And almost everyone in Door County was booked for our date or wanted us to come to their salon instead of coming to the venue. But then I found Sara! I loved her work, and she was having another wedding in Door County that day so charged us a VERY reasonable travel fee. And her prices are very fair. She let me come up in June to do my trial still even with the pandemic happening. I highly recommend doing a trial! It was awesome to be able to see what the makeup would be like the day of the wedding. She was also so fun to talk to while getting my trial done! On the day of the wedding she brought along Heidi to help with hair, and did mine and my mom's makeup herself. She made sure mine was perfect! At one point she wasn't quite liking how it was turning out, and instead of saying we were running out of time or something similar she offered to start over to make it just right! And I'm glad she did because I am obsessed with the way it turned out! It stayed on the entire day and evening even when wearing a mask for part of the day! And looked great in all our photos! The only reason I didn't have her do my own hair was because my long time family friend was coming to attend the wedding and do just my hair. The bridesmaids hair though looked phenomenal! I can't recommend Sara enough!

I worked with Sara and her team for my wedding and was very happy with the results! She was very accommodating at setting up my hair/makeup trial and traveled to me for the appointment. On the day of the wedding, she and her team were very efficient at how they scheduled six bridesmaids plus myself and my mom for hair and makeup, making sure we finished on time. Most importantly, we all loved how we looked! My makeup looked very natural, and Sara did a great job at making me look like a better version of myself. One of my bridesmaids commented that her hair had "never looked better." We even had a blast chatting with Sara and her team, which made the morning and the whole getting-ready experience a lot of fun.

I would HIGHLY recommend Sara and would definitely work with her again!

Sara and her team were fantastic!!! The wedding planner I had used recommended a couple of other vendors for hair/makeup for myself, six bridesmaids and two moms at the hotel where we were getting ready (Kress Inn in De Pere, WI). That said, I read Sara's phenomenal reviews on WeddingWire and wanted to see if she was available as I was probably most nervous about having our hair & makeup look good given I do not live NE Wisconsin and did not have any experiences with the salons in the area.

When I contacted Sara, she was very up front with the fact that she was already booked for a wedding that day up in Door County, but after confirming timing on that wedding she assured me that she could do ours as well. Yay!! She actually said she can handle up to FIVE weddings in one day which seems crazy but after seeing how organized and detailed she was with scheduling I do not doubt it at all!

Did a trial with Sara a few months before the wedding (had to squeeze it in on a weekend when we were in town for other things) and she took her time getting to know me, what I was looking for, trying different makeup and hair options to get my feedback, and taking photos so I could provide feedback later on too. This was SUPER helpful since I had originally wanted more of a smoky eye, but after the trial and thinking about it more, decided I really wanted more of a natural but lined eye with lots of lashes. Sara completely understood what I was looking for, modified on her end and the result was exactly what I'd envisioned!

The other thing that I really appreciated from Sara was her willingness to have one of her assistants stay after the ceremony (for a reasonable additional fee) to touch-up makeup after any tears. I have been known to get the waterworks going, so wanted to be sure that if that happened to me or any of the girls during the ceremony that we would not look like raccoons for the rest of the day! Totally worth the extra cost!!

I didn't actually get to work with Sara because she had another wedding that day, but she assured me she trusted her team, and they completely came through. I had a trial with the same person who did my hair and makeup the day of, Amber, and she made me look more beautiful than I could have imagined. She and Ariel, the makeup artist who did my bridal party's makeup, we're incredibly personal and so easy to talk to, and all my bridesmaids loved how they looked and loved both of then. Both showed up right on time, which is huge for me because I'm a major Type A. Great quality and great job!

I have had the pleasure of working with Sara (as well as her team on some occasions) in studio and on location for corporate photo shoots. Sara is our first choice when booking hair & makeup for our shoots, and I look forward to working with her every single time! She knows her stuff, has the best equipment and products, and is FUN and POSITIVE and ALWAYS on time.

I actually enjoyed working with Sara so much that I actually hired her to do my OWN hair & makeup for my wedding! To say the least, I couldn't be happier. Sara went out of her way to over communicate the schedule, invoice, and beauty care steps I should take leading up to the wedding day. During my trial she made sure to really listen and understand my style and my inspirations. On the wedding day, Sara and her team arrived promptly on time, ready to rock. We felt pampered and loved every second of it! My hair and makeup was PERFECT, exactly what I wanted, and lasted all day & night. Also, some my girls were particular about what they wanted done and Sara's team handled their requests with finesse.

Overall so pleased - wouldn't have wanted anyone else!

Sara was wonderful in helping me get ready for my wedding. She worked through possible looks with me during my trial and was very helpful. Ultimately I loved the way I looked on my wedding day and am so happy with the job that she did!

Words can not express how thankful I am that she was there on my special day and how great of a job she did.
