I am an outdoor adventurer; if I could spend my life shooting wild river and mountain expeditions, and still come home to be with my wife and daughter at night, I would.
I don’t have that one totally figured out yet, however, shooting weddings has more in common with that than you might realize.
Weddings are a once-in-a-lifetime event.. incredible backdrops, people looking their best, emotions flowing, colors bright… a peak life experience!
Weddings are an adventure!

Sam Hamilton was incredible!
Sam was AMAZING! Our wedding was planned from 1000+miles away, but Sam was incredible in the whole process. Our wedding happened to be in Tahoe during the second worst snow storm of the year- he was on time, and ready to face the elements to get the right shot. Sam captured so many incredible candid moments, and even when he posed us the laughter he captured was genuine. We loved every second of having him at our wedding. We received our pictures within 2 weeks, and every single shot was beautiful. If you are looking for a photographer in the Tahoe area, look no further than Sam Hamilton!

Absolutely amazing!
THE BEST PHOTOGRAPHY EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Sam shpt our wedding at Lake Tahoe and even helped us plan the timing of the ceremony for excellent lighting. He is fun, flexible, responsive, and was amazing with our kids and family. DO NOT HESITATE TO BOOK SAM! HE DOES INCREDIBLE WORK!!

Exactly what we asked for
Sam was great. He is responsive, professional, and provided exactly what we wanted from a wedding and engagement photographer. For our engagement photos, we really wanted someone to capture our love for each other while skiing. His background in action ski photography made him the perfect photographer for us. He provided his own artistic eye in his photography that made the photos unique. Additionally, he processed the photos promptly after our wedding. I would definitely recommend Sam to adventures, laid back Tahoe couples.
