We hired Salt and Smoke to be apart of our wedding day and we received so many compliments about the food! The food is delicious and the staff is amazing. Sara was great to work with and she was very communicative. The planning process was smooth and easy. I highly recommend choosing Salt and Smoke to be apart of your wedding day!!

My husband and I knew we wanted BBQ for our wedding. It’s something different than most wedding dinners. We ordered the brisket, pulled pork, pulled chicken, potato salad, Mac n cheese and a salad. The food was AMAZING. Our guests also kept saying how great the food was (honestly, you don’t hear that much for buffet style wedding food). If we ever need another caterer for an event, we will definitely be hiring salt n smoke!

We had our rehearsal dinner at Salt + Smoke in the CWE. All of our guests were raving about the food! The staff was friendly and accommodating and the back room was the perfect size for our group. Working with Anna was very easy and the event went off without a hitch. Would definitely use the space again for private parties.

It was a pleasure to work with Amy for my daughter's wedding on January 1. This being my first time to hire a caterer, I made many changes to the plan as I slowly decided what we wanted, and Amy was quick to answer my many questions and to respond to each request. She happily tailored their services to our needs (cutting down the amount of time that our servers were to stay) and allowing me to pick up the plates we were renting early, so that I could set them out on the tables when we set up the hall. The servers at the venue could not have been more helpful or more efficient. They set the food out in minutes. I was worried that "tear down" of the food table would take too long and delay the dancing (shared space), and they did it so fast, I didn't even see it happening. Even though we were not having them cut the cake, the servers kindly showed my sisters HOW to cut it and provided oversight the whole time. I am not sure, but I think one of them ran to the store when the venue ran out of red wine (there was only one bartender at our small event)! They truly went above and beyond in every detail. The food was, of course, absolutely delicious. We had the brisket, pulled pork, macaroni and cheese, potato salad, and green salad. I would use them again and again!

My husband and I worked with Amy to plan our wedding and sort out all the catering details. To say Salt and Smoke did amazing is an understatement. From selecting them as our vendor, to our tasting and then on the wedding day everything was perfect. Communication with Amy was always prompt and professional. She helped us make our final decisions and answered all of our questions with a smile at our tasting (which was very private and special). On the wedding day, the team executed the event without a hitch. They even went to the extent to make sure my grandparents who couldn’t walk outside got a separate plate of appetizers, wow! Having BBQ at our wedding was so perfect and classy. It was clean, easy to eat and they provided anything you needed with excellent service. My guests are still talking about how good the food was 2 months later! If you’re considering Salt and Smoke for your wedding you won’t go wrong, go with them!!

Incredibly delicious party food!

Hiring Salt and Smoke was an awesome choice and grand idea! The professionalism from start to finish was fantastic. Amy and John were wonderful to work with, easy to contact via email or phone for answering any questions regarding food, cost, etc. We had Anna and team for the event and everything was beautifully set up, served, and cleaned up. Anna checked with me throughout the night to make sure everything was great, which it was! We were in good hands! Our guests and we were so pleased with the food. From the ribs to the mac and cheese, everything was hot, ready and of course delicious. People are still talking about what great Event food we had. I highly recommend them, you will not be disappointed to have Salt and Smoke cater your event. Thank you for making my uncle’s birthday memorable! Everyone was so gracious and accommodating.

I want to start off by saying I would highly recommend using Salt + Smoke to cater your event!! We recently had them cater dinner at our wedding reception and from the very beginning of the process everything went very smooth and easy! Anna was very good at keeping in communication through the whole entire process and very easy to get in touch with whenever we had any questions or concerns. On our wedding day, we really appreciated that the staff arrived exactly when they said they would. They were very accommodating to our specific needs, and a pleasure to work with! Everything was done with great efficiency and the attitude of the entire staff was very positive. The food was EXCELLENT on top of being affordable for our event!

Food was amazing, and communication with Anna was great. Would hire for catering again and will continue to dine at the restaurants on a regular basis.

We recently had S+S cater our wedding reception and the experience was flawless and hassle free. Everything was set up/broken down on time and the food was incredible. Most of our guests said it was the best food they’ve ever had at a reception. I highly recommend S+S for anyone looking to cater an event or just to stop in for dinner at one of their locations. It’s become a tradition for our new family we plan on sticking to for years to come.

Salt + Smoke went above and beyond to make our reception wonderful. They provided great service and accommodations beginning with our tasting and ending with our wedding reception. Our guests still rave about the food. Our out of town guests want to eat at Salt + Smoke during their next trip to St. Louis. Since then, we have ordered catering for holiday gatherings because the food is so good.
