My brother recommended I check out Sal's for my wedding cake. I had a budget that I wanted to stick to and I asked them if they could work with it and told them what I was looking for and they gave me a great option to stick within that budget. I can't believe I had such a beautiful wedding cake that tasted so good for a little under $2.50 a slice.
When I tasted the samples, the cake was just okay. However, on the day of the wedding, the cake tasted way better. It was so good that people were stealing uneaten slices of cake and asking me if I had any left over the next day. We really wanted fresh strawberries and cannoli cream in our cake and let me tell you, that was a great combination. Our maitre d told us it was one of the most delicious wedding cakes he's ever tasted.
