I LOVE Salon CTI! Amy is the wedding coordinator and couldn't be any better at her job! From the time I booked my wedding party there (8 of us), she was super organized, on top of everything, and incredibly responsive. The girls (and guy!) that did our hair (Tamra Van Handel, Jen Milis, Ashley Janse, Linda Turner, Jessica Mulder, Eric Gillis, Gail Clark, and Katie Bootz) were AMAZING! All of us looked beautiful! Tamra and Courtney did the couple of make-up applications we had and they were great! We brought in bagels and muffins and juice to eat while we were getting ready and they made sure we had a table and place to set up. They took their time and didn't rush us out. I can't recommend them enough!

I was really nervous about getting my hair and makeup done -- I don't wear much makeup and am very particular about my hair (it's very long and curly.) I went to Salon CTI for a "practice run" the day before the wedding. I didn't tell the stylist what I wanted (I'm also a bit shy) and let her do her own thing. She curled my hair and put it all up in a prom-like style, which I hated! The beautician I also let do what she wanted, and she put on way too much mascara and eyeliner. I went home feeling like an overdone barbie doll! My husband saw me and said, This doesn't look like you, I know you don't like this.

I went the next day (the day of the wedding!) with a different attitude. I told the stylist my particularities about my hair and asked her not to curl it -- she pulled it back, put some daisies in it, left it loose enough not to hurt my scalp and left some tendrils around my face. It was beautiful! As soon as I gave her the indication of what I wanted, she did exactly that and more. When I went to the beautician, I gave her my own makeup and asked her not to put much on -- she made me look beautiful without using much foundation or eye stuff.

I have had people tell me that my hair and makeup fit me perfectly, and that they've never seen someone look so much like themselves and not too made-up for their wedding. If you want a traditional and ritzy look, they can do it -- and if you're looking for something more unique, just let them know and they'll tailor it to your needs! I definitely recommend this place.

Salon CTI was one of the few salons in Appleton that had enough space to accommodate a large bridal party. They have lots of experience with weddings, and the wedding coordinator was very easy to work with. The stylists were efficient and all of the up-dos looked beautiful. My stylist, Stephanie, even bent over backwards to accommodate a trial up-do appointment during a city-wide power outage. We were very happy with Salon CTI on our wedding day!

My hair and makeup turned out beautifully. The staff were flexible in taking my opinions into consideration and were willing to keep me informed and willing to work with me when their makeup artist at the time of booking quit. They were able to train someone to provide the type of makeup application I requested, which made things less stressful on my end. I recommend to any bride that they do a trial run of their makeup and hair (with headpiece and veil) prior to the wedding date so all of the details are in order. Remember to bring a camera to take pictures during the trial runs. It can come in handy if you try various hairstyles before picking one. Makes recalling the one you liked easier.
