Ruth is AMAZING. She was the perfect photographer for our wedding. She is kind, reliable, easy going, and oh so talented. No other photographer has ever made me feel as comfortable as she did. My husband and I are over the moon with how well our pictures came out. If you don't use Ruth, you are seriously missing out.

Ruth Doctor was absolutely amazing! She was quick to respond to all my emails regarding engagement pictures and was very accommodating. When it came to taking our engagement pictures, my fiancé and I were nervous because we weren't sure what poses to do, but she made us feel so comfortable and gave great direction. The pictures she took turned out so well, and she was able to capture sweet moments that weren't staged. She is easy going and very flexible and really seeks to capture the love that two people share between each other. She is also open to any suggestions that could make the shoot go better. Last week Ruth took engagement pictures of my fiance and me! I don't know where to start to rave about it! - Let's start with how Ruth interacted with us. - She made us feel so comfortable taking pictures, which to me is huge. She was the perfect mix of present and invisible. And isn't that what you want in a photographer? You don't want to be acutely aware of a lens in your face, but also, you want someone who can easily interact with you and your spouse, fiance, or family. Second is her style! Ruth has an eye for closeups and captures facial expressions and also is able to be creative with different scenery! I was really impressed how she knew and took advantage of natural light too! Lastly- timeliness. I was expecting to take pictures and wait a week or two or three to see the pictures. She had the pictures back to me in less than 72 hours!!! Definitely would recommend!
