Lauren and Mitch did a PHENOMENAL job capturing our wedding day!!! I cannot give them enough praise for their hard work, artistic creativity, and friendly personalities! We decided to purchase both the photo and video package, which I would highly recommend. They offer a great video package which includes not only a highlight video, but also an hour-long documentary of your day (most companies only offer a highlight video). I cry everytime I watch our videos because my heart is so full. They beautifully captured our day, with all the laughs and cries and love. In addition to the videos, Lauren’s photography and editing skills are exquisite! Rather than just traditionally posed photos, she was able to embody our relationship through her photos. They show the true authenticity of each moment during our wedding day; our true laughs, our raw emotions, our silliness, our intimacy. We loved her editing, with beautiful colors and earthy tones. Lastly, I want to share how genuinely down-to-earth and kind-hearted Lauren and Mitch are! From our first meeting with them to our wedding day, they were friendly, open, flexible, and positive. They will make you feel special, make you laugh, and ensure everyone feels welcome! They are professional and stick to the schedule, while being friendly and personable. It’s evident they want your day to be perfect. We also love that they are inclusive. In sum, Roots of the Rose is the best in the business. Roots of the Rose is a husband and wife duo and they go above and beyond to capture the best of the best photos! They are the sweetest people you will ever meet and are so professional at the same time! The work they did for us was top notch and the turn around time was phenomenal! Our wedding day was 8/16/20 and we received our photos on 8/24/20! Like, wow! I am so grateful for Lauren and Mitchell and will definitely hire them for future events!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Where to even begin with how awesome Mitchell was! He literally should be charging a million times more than he is, he was really professional and you can tell he really cares about showcasing your wedding in the best way. He is so so sweet and easy to work with and his wife came to assist him (she was great, too!)- he was also an HOUR early to look around the venue and game plan with our photographer. That made me feel really good because I've heard horror stories of late vendors and also of videographers and photographers not being on the same page. But everyone LOVED Mitchell and some of our guests asked for his info because even when our photographer was taking a break, Mitchell was running around getting awesome footage! He also danced with us at the reception, it was hilarious! Every time we watch our video I cry so much and all of my friends are obsessed! I am so so so happy we decided to actually get a videographer, it is more than worth the money let me tell you! Like JUST as important as photography, you'll love his work!
