Roland Massow. Roland and his team did a wonderful job with our photos! We are so happy with how our photos turned out! The quality and clarity are just stunning! We went with Roland for both photo and video. Although it can take a bit for the photos to come back since he uses both film and digital it is so worth it!

ABSOLUTELY amazing!!!! No words can explain how happy we were with Roland’s artistry - he was able to capture all those priceless memories on our wedding day and we could not be more ecstatic that we will have our video to cherish for our lifetime! So wonderful to work with and now feels like family!

Roland took our engagement photos and wedding photos. He is professional and imaginative. He was able to adapt to circumstances and the very hot weather to take breathtaking photos of us indoors and out. He helped us with poses and came with a plan and flexibility. Roland not only took amazing photos but also had a team with him filming us as we also hired him for videography. I feel so privileged to have had such an amazing wedding and have such breathtaking footage to remember it by . Roland worked closely with our wedding planner to tie up loose ends and coordinate everything so the only thing I needed to worry about was getting ready and experiencing the emotion of this once in a lifetime day. <3 <3 <3

We booked with Roland in 2018 for our wedding and was excited to work with him due to his style and his pricing. We changed our wedding date a few months later from 2019 to 2020 and verbally agreed via email.

From August 2018 to January 2020 we had not heard from in. In those 17 months I had sent multiple follow up emails asking about new deposit due dates to ensure we paid him on time, if he was still able to work with us, that we saw he has a new business venture but we want to ensure he can still attend our wedding, etc. In January 2020, 6 months out from our wedding date he finally responded saying he could attend our wedding and stated personal matters were his reason for lack of response.

Due to his lack of response and hearing of other local bride’s frustrations with reliability, we decided we would like to work with a videographer that we know would be able to attend our wedding to the terms as promised. We decided to terminate our contract and requested it be a mutual cancellation and that we receive back our $1125 deposit due to the concerns mentioned above.

During this time, he had recently opened a clothing store front that appears to be where his time and effort was spent. After not hearing from him for 3 months, follow up emails were sent and then declined as he had deleted that email account. He had also deleted the website that housed our contract. I eventually found his new email from his clothing store and reached out there.

We finally heard back in May 2020 and he stated that the best he was able to do as a gesture of good will was give us $500 back from our original $1125 deposit. While we felt we deserved the entirety of the deposit back, we agreed upon this amount to avoid small claims court. It is very frustrating as a bride to not receive communication after multiple attempts for over a year and 5 months, have the corresponding email account be deleted without notice, then no response for another 3 months, hear of other frustrations and reliability complaints from other brides, and not receive a mutual cancellation as this does not appear to be his main focus any longer. Personal and other professional affairs should not be excuse for lack of response when client’s money has been given for a service. For these reasons, I would not recommend Roland for wedding videography needs. I cannot vouch for quality of service since we did not utilize him, so I gave an average rating for that.
