Rockaway River Country Club is a great place for a wedding. Our ceremony was outside by the 18th hole, my husband loved it. They also have an area that is more secluded with a view of the course. The food was amazing and the club manager, Mike Ferguson, was fantastic. He had creative ideas and just let everything flow, it was great!!! Our guests can't stop talking about the food, the service and the bar. We had our cocktail hour prior to the ceremony. We had seen such waste at other weddings and wanted to make sure people enjoyed all the food. We had a sushi chef that was great, a huge hit as well as other food being passed around. The dinner was set up as a grazing, the weather was great so the stations were set up outside.
This is not a fancy place. Its clean and homey and classy. There is a room upstairs for the bride to change and take pictures.
