Owner, Pro Makeup Artist & Hair Stylist, Kristen Krause, now in her 23rd year as a MUA, and is also a Licensed cosmetologist and esthetician.Rock & Royal is certainly happy to accomodate you anywhere, anytime you need me.

So much yes

Kristen Krause was so great to work with for my wedding day makeup. The planning conversations and skin prep tips she gave prior to were invaluable. And then the member of her team I was assigned, Ashley Spellman, was just so talented and so fun. She executed my moody, sultry, evil villainous makeup request flawlessly and never questioned my vision for my nontraditional wedding day ensemble. Ashley is a true makeup ARTIST and I cannot express just how supremely satisfied I am with how my face turned out.

Kristen was a great pick for my bridal makeup. I brought a magazine picture of what look I wanted and she did a great job creating that look for my big day! My bridesmaids all have different skin types and were very happy with their makeup and my mom looked gorgeous! one of my bridesmaids that had been in other weddings recently said that the makeup from my wedding was her favorite. Kristen is extremely professional and great to work with and cool to hang out with while you and your girls are getting ready for your big day! You'll be very happy if you go with Kristen for your big day.

Entire wedding party was from out of town so all the arrangements were made via phone and email. Kristen was awesome! She coordinated everything for us. I felt that I was absolutely beautiful for my wedding day!

I was so blessed that I found Kristen for my wedding make up. She truly made me feel beautiful on my wedding day and worked with me in every way to make sure all me and my girls were happy. Kristen is a very bright women and very artistic. She went above and beyond when it came to answering any questions I had or finding out what looked best on my skin. She is really amazing!

Rock and Royal is AWESOME! I looked amazing on my wedding day and so did the Mother of the bride and all my bridesmaids. Kristen took her time doing my trial before for my bridal shower and we worked out what worked best for me. Good rates for all her services and top notch professionalism. She came all the way out to Temecula for my wedding preparations :) so glad I found her!

Kristin, was amazing from the beginning I have meet her for the make-up trial till the day of the wedding. I couldn’t have asked for anyone better to do my make-up for my special day. Kristin, is very passionate about her job, she listened and took in consideration the look I was going for on my wedding day. I never say this about myself, but Kristin had made me look like an amazing bride, and for that I am very grateful for everything she has done for me. Not only did she do my make-up but also my sister, my mother, and aunt who all looked beautiful. I would highly recommend her to everyone and anyone. Not only would she make you look great on your special day but you also would gain a great make-up artist who you would go back to for any other special occasion. Thank you again Kristin, from the bottom of my heart, for the amazing job you have done.

I would highly recommend Rock & Royal to anyone looking for makeup artists for their wedding, or any event for that matter. It was so much fun to do the trial run with Kristen. She spent time with me going over the look I wanted, while making great suggestions along the way. The day of the wedding Kristen arrived at the hotel early so we were able to get started right away. This was a huge relief because I was worried about fitting everyone in before pictures. Not only was everyone ready for pictures, but she even fit in a couple people who decided they wanted their makeup done last minute. Kristen is extremely professional and truly cares about her clients. Her down to earth personality makes you feel like you've known her for decades. Rock & Royal is the only studio I'll go to now. Kristen's my go to girl for anything makeup related!

Kristen is a great artist with great prices! She wasn't available for my event but got an artist she trusted who was and we met at Kristen's La Jolla studio. I enjoyed a glass of wine and get conversation each time I went, and they made me feel like it was less just another thing I had to do and more a time for me to relax and escape all the wedding planning craziness. Danelle, my artist, was GREAT! I love that Kristen (and the artists that work with her) know how to bring out a girl's natural beauty....it's you but better, instead of "MAC" face covered in a bunch of dark, over heavy make-up. I got a great deal and decided to get make-up for both my rehearsal and wedding, plus Danelle also does lash extensions (which I was happy were super reasonably priced...I thought I could not afford them before). She's really great at what she does and it was so nice to keep some of my glam look even through the honeymoon. I'm now intending on keeping my lash extensions all the time, and I would recommend Kristen (and anyone Kristen works with) to anyone who needs a great artist at a great value.

Kristen did make up for my mother, my maid of honor and myself at my wedding on July 18th 2013. She was very helpful throughout the entire process. She did a trial for my make up a few months beforehand, and did such an amazing job. The make up turned out perfect at the wedding and lasted all day from around 1 or 2 until 10 at night. She's absolutely fantastic and I would recommend her to anyone. 5 stars!
