Riverview Room is a wedding venue located in historic Downtown Cape Girardeau, Missouri. This venue is located on the top floor of the historic Buckner Ragsdale Building and overlooks the Mississippi River, offering picturesque views for your special day. With extensive space and various amenities, Riverview Room is well equipped to host rehearsal dinners, wedding ceremonies and receptions, as well as formals, Christmas parties, and corporate events.

Facilities and Capacity

This spacious event venue can accommodate both small, intimate weddings and large, elegant gatherings. River View Room can hold up to 230 seated guests or 300 standing. It features a Bridal suite with private powder room, Groom's suite with an optional private bar, a full bar, and kitchen space. The venue’s combined rustic and industrial styles provide couples with a one-of-a-kind setting to celebrate their love and moments they’ll treasure for years to come.

Services Offered

Riverview Room offers venue rental for weddings and other special events with a variety of packages to suit a range of budgets and needs. The venue furnishes couples with up to 250 chairs and 23 tables for their big day and white linens for an additional cost. We have a full bar and can provide a custom bar package that suites your needs. The venue’s helpful team works with couples to determine the best possible drink selection for their event. As there is no catering service at Riverview Room, couples are free to work with an outside caterer for their meals to bring their wedding vision to life. The venue can also provide setup and cleanup services for your event at an additional cost.

Besides wedding-related events, Riverview Room is an ideal location for meetings of various kinds. The venue can offer a projector, screen, high-speed WiFi, and laptop, ensuring an experience that is as stress free as possible. In addition, speakers can be provided on request.
