My husband and I were celebrating our 1 Year wedding anniversary and were looking for a great All Inclusive resort in Cabo! We stayed at the RIU Palace from May 19th-May 24th. We used Lauren Nolan with VIP Vacations to book our travel, who we also used for our wedding arrangements. Lauren and her staff are PHENOMENAL, I highly recommend using them when booking travel. She takes care of our room arrangements, hotel stay, airport transfers and flight arrangements. This was our 3rd All Inclusive to visit and by far our FAVORITE :) The hotel is absolutely beautiful with a very "open feel" to it. There are hardly any walls and there's a constant breeze flowing. We arrived at the hotel a few hours before check-in and had no problem hanging out in the lobby after we grabbed some lunch at the buffet! We loved that the hotel was situated in front of the Arch, any picture you take on the beach will have that beautiful background behind you. Keep in mind you have to make reservations for some of the restaurants in the hotel. The Steakhouse you can make in advance but The Krystal (French Restaurant) you can only make the day of. Literally you have to get there right at 7 AM to get a reservation. We got there at 7:06 AM and couldn't get in to eat until 8:30 that night. So plan ahead!! We tried to make reservations for the Steakhouse on Wednesday and the earliest opening they had was Saturday (our last night) but the Steakhouse was by far our favorite meal of the trip! 12 oz Fillets, hello! Hubby got the Surf and Turf, Fillet and Lobster.Sent on 05/27/2015
The staff was AWESOME! They didn't expect tips but were grateful when they received one so bring plenty of $1's and $5's! It goes a long way for them.
