We loved having Richmond Trolley as part of our special day. It is more expensive than the competitors in the area, but it was well worth it. Our driver was amazing, he let us hook up our ipod have some adult beverages and took us wherever we wanted. He was very thoughtful and gave our guests a bit of history while driving to the chapel and the venue. They also have signs that are just married, etc that you can put on it. We got the enclosed trolley which was just beautiful! I can't say enough!

Guests really enjoyed having the trolley transportation, especially being in downtown Richmond with the limited parking. The trolleys are very old, so don't expect a smooth ride! I also feel that they were a bit pricey and restrictive to how many stops they could make.

We used Richmond Trolley Company as transportation from the hotel to our wedding reception. The trolleys were adorable and the drivers were very friendly. Unfortunately, the two trolleys were 15 minutes late picking us up, making us late to our own wedding ceremony. When we booked them, they did a trial run to make sure the trolleys would fit at the turnaround point at our venue (Lewis Ginter Bloemendaal House). They fit with no problems and we appreciated that they took this precaution. Unfortunately, the drivers we had the evening of our reception did not seem to be aware of this and did not seem to know their way to the dropoff point. It took several tries and turnbacks before they got it right. Their instructions were to remain at our reception venue during the party in case any guests wished to return to the hotel early. Unfortunately, the trolleys were not there when a few guests were ready to leave early (our coordinator had to phone them). I also didn't appreciate the tip box displayed prominently at the front of the trolley. I had already tipped the drivers and didn't want my guests to feel that they should have to do this.
