Rev. John Wilson, of Rose Ministries, officiated my wedding ceremony on October 1st. John has been a close personal friend of mine for almost thirteen years, so he was an obvious choice as our officiant, but he also impressed my husband and I with his professionalism and helpfulness through the ceremony planning process and at the ceremony itself. John emailed me a sample draft of a ceremony based on our interest in a secular ceremony and allowed us to make changes/additions to make our ceremony more personal. Due to my procrastinating nature, I made changes up until the week before the wedding, and John gladly accepted them. The ceremony itself was beautiful and went very smoothly - we got many compliments from our guests about how personal and unique the ceremony was (and a perfect length!). John is one of the kindest people I have ever known, and just having him there for the rehearsal and ceremony helped to calm my frazzled nerves. I would not have changed a thing :)
