R2i2 Conference Center

Dakota and Jacquie were amazing to work with. They were there throughout the entire wedding day, lending support and helping the day flow smoothly. Throughout the wedding planning process, they let my wedding team and I, do multiple walk-throughs so that we were comfortable with the way that things would be set up. They also provided valuable insight on set-up based on their experience. The event space is spacious and holds a lot of people. They were extremely responsive to emails and phone calls. Because of them, I experienced zero stress on my wedding day. I highly recommend this place for your upcoming wedding!

The R2I2 Conference Center located at 763 Fashion Drive, Columbia SC is a World-Class facility being able to host a variety of events and programming.

Saturday, September 17, 2022 I hosted the Studio 54 Disco Diva Birthday Celebration to commemorate my moms 65th birthday. We had an amazing time and it is all thanks to Jacquie Lee and her team.

I found the R2I2 facility on Wedding Wire through a random search. Ms. Lee was quick with response and informative. She encouraged me to visit the venue before making my final selection. What impressed me more than anything was on my visitation she stated, “I want to host your event and make your mom proud.” That one simple statement helped with the decision to have our event at R2I2.

Venue
The entire venue is beautiful. From the energy efficient escalators, to the state of the art digital signage throughout the venue. Everything was easily accessible. Restrooms were very clean and fresh, carpet vacuumed and free of debris, and back hallways organized. The ballroom space has many options and set-up and high ceilings. The pre-function space is simply perfect for hosting smaller events before the main event.

Staff
The highlight of this facility is the staff. Ms. Lee, Ms. Riley-Richberg, and the entire staff take great pride in the work they produce. You are always met with a smiling face and willingness to help and answer questions. The staff at R2I2 really is the spirit of the facility. They give the facility character. Each member of Ms. Lee team should be recognized for their contributions to making R2I2 the TOP CONFERENCE CENTER in the Columbia Metropolitan Area.

Parking
There is amble parking for everyone, even with the Richland County Public Library being on site. The parking lot was safe, and had ample lighting at night.

Day of Event
On the day of my event, the facility went into event mode. Everyone was on-board to ensure the event was a success. It meant a lot to me seeing others going above and beyond for the success of my event. My family and I felt supported and honestly we felt very welcomed.

Technology
William Ames was phenomenal with explaining how digital signage would be displayed and what would be needed to ensure it is displayed properly. He also worked with me to ensure other lighting elements were in place and fully operational. Mr. Ames was open and willing to assist in making all my technology needs possible.

Overall
I have worked with, and in, many facilities throughout my event planning and consulting career, but R2I2 takes the #1 place. Overall on a scale of 1-10 I give R2I2 100! This is just how much of an amazing experience my family and I had working with the facility. I would highly recommend hosting events at this facility as they go above and beyond to deliver solid hospitality.

We have worked with Ms. Jacquie Lee and her staff for th past two years for our annual event. They are amazing! They communicate with you, they are prompt with responses, they m do a thorough walk through to make sure everything is how you want it and they go above and beyond if it’s not perfect. The facilities are wonderful and we receive lots of good feedback about the location. They offer a preferred catering list that has so many wonderful vendors to choose from. You’ll love this space and the people who run it. We’re excited about being back next year!

The R2i2 staff was amazing! My husband and I had a surprise wedding for our guest recently and everything went great! Jacquie Lee and her team catered to our every need. From their professionalism to their willingness to do whatever it took to make sure our day was everything we asked for! We entrusted the R2i2 team and they delivered with superb results.
